This episode AMAZING!!!!

First of all Ressler... Wow, I really thought he would go about to preach the Embassy Boarder and attack the Embassy or the car right away. Thank God Samar was there because otherwise I'm sure he would never have let Liz go!
And when he heard that they were planning to kill her, YES!!! He went there to safe her and she even saved him first! That was great. Besides, there was a Ressler/Liz face to face

Liz really had problems to hold it all together. I really was afraid when she aimed her weapon at Red back in the diner She didn't make any move to lower it until Red lifted his hands in a gesture of defenselessness and stepping up to her, at her gun point. This scene kind of killed me. I really was worried she'l break down there.
And the fact that Red had to stop her from going further with this guy. It made me so sad. Poor Liz.

The Red/Liz scene at the end!!! Pure love Damn it, I so loved it! The comparison he made about what he sees when he looks at her It was sooooo beautiful and yeah, no words. I was so touched. And him telling her something about himself, his life before he was caught up in all of it. What his dream really was about, what he wanted to become and her acknowledging that he would have been a great captain. That moment was great.

Marvin Gerald! You can count him as one of my all time favorite characters on the show! He was amazing, and I'm so sure we'll see him again! We so will. And he's working on the Fulcrum information. I so badly want to know what they were reading in the Fulcrum files! It must have been something really important! Damn it!!!!
And that Red got Marvin out. Did you see how Lizzie was looking at him? I think she finally starts to understand him, some of his motives already and she starts to see the person he really is. That he isn't fully gone, that he isn't lost but that he is always just going to try to do good, to get the best out of the situation for everybody that's innocent or has some of the same values he has. That he maybe never was that bad person but that he got caught up in all of this.

I'm wondering what happened to the dead driver of the Russian vehicle? They wanted to hear him out (the task force I mean) and he is dead before they even get there and it's never again mentioned? What about Ressler attacking that Russian vehicle? It's kind of a war declaration and everybody is okay with it??? Hello???? That sucked, really.

Samar again was stunning Man, I so love her character and slowly I really get the feeling she still might be working for Red But maybe that's just me.

Dembe Did you guys see what he was hit with? Damn it, it made me get goose bumps and I almost cried. Noooo!!!

And the final scene with Tom and Ressler... I'm so pissed we didn't get Tom's reaction on finding out about Liz and Red. So, what does that guy want???

Cooper, where is he now? He wasn't allowed back into the task force, right? They wanted him to resign. It so sucks, I'm really curious what he's up to but apparently he's trying to help Liz and Red!!! So YES for him! I love him and he's one of the few who really get what's going on with the Cabal and seems to be able to get the dimension of it!

Hah, I liked the "comrade" quote, didn't hear "comrade" since playing Call of Duty, good times!

Great episode, 42. minutes really flied by...

They should mention the dead drivers, that was a miss from the writer part... And about hitting the car, I don't know, Ressler said if the information that Red gave him wrong, he will resign, and no mention from Reven(?) again about it.

Cooper downgrade to CJIS (whatever that is), hmmm. Wouldnt be a better options if he resigned, took the full pension and then worked for a private company? He is probably a big name in that world and probably has a lot of friends, so he probably could get a job where he could get more resources (in the private sector)...

Marvin was awesome and had a great (and sad) backstory... :/ Of course we cant see the information... I don't think we will see it before the 2nd half of the season.

Aram in the field, nice, surprise that no one mentioned it. Also Red plan sucked, whats the problem with the black girl or that dude that owns the restaraunt calls the police?

To be fair, that guy deserved a beating, so its that easy to puncture a lung? :O And I don't get his wife/girlfriend, she clearly is abused and still wants to help him (theres also real life situation like this), and that makes me soooooooooooooo mad!!!

Mr. Salomon - brutal, brutal...

Reds monologues are the best! So, did someone thought of offering him a audio book deal? Would be a best-seller for sure!

I have faith in Tom! I don't know why, but I'm optimistic about him (I know that they "forget" The Major storyline, but still!). Maybe I'm optimistic because it's Friday?

Props to Megan acting, she was good in those close-up scenes.

Great episode!!! Red never ceases to surprise me. The scene at the end when he's talking about being a captain and then to find out they are actually on a ship at sea..... and his comment to Liz on how he sees her. I was

Marvin Gerard - have to love him! Red is looking out for him so it will be interesting to see how he will be able to repay the favor. And it's a big one! How does one repay Tahiti and being with the love of your life?

Acting props to everyone! Amazing job!

BTW, how long do we have to wait until someone brings down Mr. Soloman? Hate, hate, hate him! Poor Dembe. He has to have suffered broken bones based on the weapon used. Hope he gets his revenge.

Of course, Tom had to return. Will be interesting to see what kind of plot he hatches with Ressler. Both are in love with Liz and want to keep her safe.

"When I look at you, that's what I see. I see my way home."

Dammit! This episode got me you guys. From the beginning to the very end.
First let me say that I've never truly given props to Spader for his portrayal of Red but God, he's amazing. Simply amazing with this character.

All I could think about was the scene with him and Liz on the boat and his opening up about some of his dreams, his past life. It felt so real and so organic and I loved that she told him he would've made a great captain. She believes in him. And I think he finally feels it. I want a happily ever after for Red so bad.

Ressler finally gave us a little sneak peak into what he's feeling towards his old partner. He didn't hesitate to save her life (which I think we all knew he wouldn't). But what surprised me was his speech at the diner to her. Ressler still believes in Liz. And I wasn't sure of that until this episode because he was so far gone in Ep1. But he does. He still knows she good deep down, even though she killed the AG. He still feels he can reason with her and talk some sense in her. He still believes he knows her. I think this will be important in the future episodes.

The scene at the end where he's sitting in their old office... his face seems full of loss. But he's also trying to put more of the puzzle pieces together in terms of The Cabal. I have a feeling that the tides will soon turn with Ressler and I can't wait to see what path the writers take him on.

Oh, and he believes in Red too. Especially when it comes to Liz. He bet his career on it.

Mr Solomon has eclipsed the others into my favorite villain of all time on this show. My God. He's ruthless. And attractive.

That end scene with Dembe was hard to watch.

So, I watched this episode at like 5:30 this morning because I wasn't home last night and oh.my.god.

I need to watch it again as soon as I get home from work today. Seriously. It was soooooo good. For now, let me try and gather my thoughts...

I fall more in love with Ressler every episode, I think. He's still not my favourite character, but he's grown on me a lot since the beginning. He has so much pain and anger and regret inside of him and still, the moment he realized what Red was trying to tell him, that Liz would be killed, he didn't even bat an eyelash, he ran after that convoy and risked everything by attacking it. I have to wonder if that's going to come up again? They did say that attacking them (even the vehicles) would be equivalent to declaring a state of war. But, maybe since all the Russians inside the car are now dead and obviously Liz isn't going to tell anyone about it, and it appeared as though they had no witnesses, perhaps it'll just go away?

I loved the twist of the whole hostage scenario being a set up by Red the entire time! That was brilliant! One of my favourite scenes of the episode though was when Liz went ballistic on the abusive husband. I think we saw her "warrior gene" showing its colours again and it even turned to Red, yet somehow, he was the only one able to talk her down. That was SUCH a powerful scene!

The scene on the ship was just... like, the entire series could have ended after that episode and I would be totally ok, It was just THAT GOOD. I could live in that moment forever Red sharing a story with Liz that he'd never told anyone before, showing her more of his human side I think helped Liz realized that they're both not just these "monsters" that she thinks they are.

Also, SHE IS HIS WAY BACK HOME I can't even deal with this right now

I think it's safe to say I'll have some vidding inspiration for this weekend

My poor Dembe I honestly though can't WAIT to see what Red is going to do with Mr. Solomon when he eventually catches up with him (and I'm sure he will, though I think it's going to take some time, maybe even the rest of the season?)
