I don't think Katarina knew Sam but I do think that Sam was friends with our Red and not the real RR. I don't know why but that is what my gut feeling tells me.

Honestly, I as well believe that Sam was friends with our Red... Sam was such a 'normal' person and I believe our Red was kind of normal or lets say more normal than Katarina and RR.

But Sam was a grifter. So maybe not such a normal person but more normal than Kat and RR.

I believe as well that Sam was friends with our Red and picture him knowing the whole story.
The only problem I have is Katarina tells Kaplan that Raymond said to take him to Sam. I think she's talking about our Red. But I don't think the two men had the same name. I'm wondering was the plan started that night. __________________

That's the problem... We don't know much about Sam, sadly
 I'm torn about that night and her call to Kaplan as well... I'm not so sure if she really meant our Red But she must, right because the other one would be dead already because he was shot by his own daughter.  I'll add this wish to my list: - I want Liz to face the consequences for her actions at least once. __________________
