I liked tonight's episode more than the premiere. It felt more cohesive and I liked that everything tied together in the end.

I think I may have missed a minute or two before the end I ran back in the room and it had already started again so I'm going to have to rewatch and make sure that was nothing important.

1. Welcome back, Mr. Kaplan. We learn her name too, I wouldn't have guessed Kate. But I liked her scene with Red, again these two seem to have a closeness that we haven't even begun to scratch the surface of.

2. Nice little reveal with Samar. I like that she seems to have these conflicting loyalties. I can't wait to see her storyline this season.

3. Speaking of conflicting loyalties... could this season be a shift in focus from Red's secrets to Lizzie's? Seems that Liz has access that Red didn't count on her having, I think this could be a huge factor in their relationship. Kudos to the writers for setting this up early. I'm betting it's a theme we're going to explore for the rest of the season.

4. Oh Berlin~ He really is a good match for Red because while he's calculating, smart, and generally careful, he's also kinda crazy. The scene on the bench was probably my favorite. Yet another example of two great actors really bringing the fun on this show. Interesting that Red finally speaks about Berlin's daughter. Although Red still recognized her when he took her photograph from The Stewmaker so I'm a little confused ...well maybe more curious about how Red is connected to all of this.

Anyway, good ep. Lots of good team moments. Aram bringing the funny too which was nice.

I really liked this episode. I felt like the story was more dynamic than last episode. I really liked that Red and Berlin met at Coney Island - I felt that their personalities are the opposite of the kind of people that go there, so it was clever and comical.

I also feel like Keen's acting is getting a lot better.

Yeah exactly. It was surreal. Plus it added a little extra weight to their disturbing conversation.

Yeah, Megan has shifted into the role now. It's great to see. And maybe losing the wig helped.

I have to agree that I liked this ep much more than the 1st. And only because I figured out who Lord Baltimore is so it was anti-climactic for me.

My favorite scene is the one with Berlin & Red at Coney Island. As always, Red gets the upper hand on his arrangement with Berlin.

I didn't see the reveal with Samar as well. UGH. I can't wait how this all plays out soon.

I also liked that scene with Red and his wife and how he kind of like wanted to touch her but he can't.

All these feelers that Tom is dead is making me think he's very much alive.

It was great to see Mr. Kaplan too, who would've thought her first name was Kate?

So, it's Wednesday already (crazy how time flies) and time for a new episode in our re-watch Monarch Douglas Bank was really intense and I loved that episode as well. Can't wait to see it again because this one is important in the Red/Liz relationship.

And of course I'm curious about all the other stuff that I might have missed out on since I was too focused on these two

I loved Ressler in this episode. The way he was with Kaja after she got shot. It reminded me of Audrey all over again. He was so sweet to her and in the train when Red wanted to take her he was so defensive. I loved that about him.

I will watch this episode on Friday.

Isn't it crazy how much screen time Ressler got at the beginning of the season... I realized that when I was watching 2x01 yesterday and it isn't different in this episode. He was present, he was there and not just in the background or because there was nobody else there they could have used. He simply had some storyline.

It's the episode where Samar joined the task force... I'm curious to see that again.

Yes he really was present in this episode and in the first one and I loved that. They should have kept it like that throughout the entire season.

I want to see that again too that Samar joins the task force. Aram was smitten from the first moment he saw her. Liz didn't trust her and Ressler.. I don't even know what Ressler thought about her. You think he trusted her from the beginning?

I've yet to rewatch this episode but it's one of my fav ones because case of the week takes places in Warsaw, Poland and that's where I come from.

Be back when I rewatch it.

Nika, you are from Poland? How cool is that. That isn't too far away from me. I live near the East border of Germany, right next to Poland Awesome! And when they were in Dresden on the show, that's so close to my hometown. It was so much fun to watch.

Miranda, maybe they will be in the Netherlands at some point I'll keep my hopes up for that to happen.

Exactly And how Ressler cared about Kaja was great, too. Always the one protecting the weak.
