episode synopsis

Cooper (Harry Lennix) puts his reputation on the line to appeal to the White House on Red's (James Spader) behalf, as Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force resume their search for The Corsican (guest star Christopher Lambert), a Blacklister with ties to an international conspiracy. Meanwhile, Samar's (Mozhan Marnò) abilities in the field are tested. Jennifer Ferrin and Benito Martinez also guest star.

Oh, I agree, Jay! That was the one thing...outside of Red getting a reprieve from death...that made me smile big time! I loved Vontae's sweet spirit and big glasses, and I love Red for remembering how helpful Vontae was to him by getting him a parole as part of his agreement! Woo hoo! I had a feeling Red would do something for him, and now that he got him out of prison, I hope Vontae will turn out to be a regular part of the show!

I'm still confused about that man who shot Moreau...I thought he worked for Moreau but in a twist, apparently he works for that evil lady (I forget her name). That was a surprise.

We saw a different side of Dembe tonight playing that game with those folks, too funny! I can see him asking the writers, "Can you please give me one scene where I'm being animated and goofy for a change?!"

So many other thoughts going through my head regarding Liz, for example, and what about Samar! Surely Red is going to get her some kind of help...I just can't see her leaving the show altogether.

I think it's going to be interesting to see the task force dealing in disinformation like Red said since that lady is going to be overseeing the team's every move! She's also going to try to eliminate each one of them...so looks like more great episodes to come! Yay!

Anyway, another great episode!

What a fantastic episode! Red is where he needs to be! Out in the free world!

Do you guys think that Liz is really going to let things go regarding to Red? I felt like since she was saying to Ressler she meant it cause why would she lie to Ressler.. but I really don't know if she was real about it.

So sad about Samar. She is leaving the task force. I was waiting for the day when something would go horribly wrong. I really feel for Samar but she should have said something sooner. And her not telling Cooper the reason for leaving is cause she doesn't want to be viewed as weak I think. I wonder if Aram is going to tell Cooper the truth when he tells the team that Samar is going to leave the taskforce.

I love it that Vontae is going to be a free man and I can't wait to see him out of prison. I am sure Red is going to take him under his wing.

Dembe playing the guessing game with those scared people was hilarious!

The guy who shot Moreau works at the White House. He works for either the President or Anna or both.

I really hope the task force will be able to find the dossier and prove that Anna is corrupt and that she is part of the conspiracy. As well as the President. Although I don't think he knows everything there is to know.

Yes. The writers did something write. I'm hoping we see Red make him go to college or something.

The hug when Red left the prison. See I thought they would do something like when Liz got released in the director episide. But this hug didn't feel the same did it. Even the hug with Dembe hurt me because of the secret. But seeing Red smiling a genuine smile is a thing of beauty

The man that shot Moreau, I just knew liz was going to blame Red for that.

I love the team working together to a common goal with Red. I hope they keep it up for a while.

I think Ressler is going to start looking for who Red is. I think he may do that behind Liz back at least for now. Still unsure about liz. She may mean it for now, but we know how wish washy she is. I don't trust it. She is going to have to stop Ressler from his search. And I don't mean kill him. She can lock him up since she tends to do that to every man that makes her mad.

Love Cooper. He is my hero. I love him telling Anna that running the task force has a high mortality rate. He saved Red too. How cool is that.

Not much Red and Liz time but I can understand that. This ep was full. And I think him leaving st the end was his way of getting away to think. No way can Red let who put him n jail go. That's a big betrayal and could be an existing threat. At this point he might be wondering if Anna did it.

Dembe playing games. I loved it. You know he's going to make Red play.

I don't think this plot is going to tie into Reds past. This doesn't seem connected to the Cabal but to the iron fist. Although Red has said there are a bunch of evil organizations out there.

Should have known Red would have no last words. Loved Aram and Samar holding hands when they thought Red died. Poor Samar. Can't believe Aram didn't realize she was going to quit.

I'm hoping she's not leaving the show and Reds pharmacist can save Samar.

That said it kinda make sense Jennifer her "sister" Quit leaving her the mess. While Red has been around for all of it. He may not be blood but he is family.

The charade thing with Dembe was weird. Maybe he wanted to celebrate and keep them calm but I didn't look right.

I'd like to see Liz run after Red or something. I get why Red feels the need to leave and be away for a while. Not surprised the Moreau guy ended up dead.

Wow, that was one of the best episodes we've gotten in a long time!

First of all, I need to get this straight. I believe the First Lady is sick and that's why Red hired that doctor. I think he knows that something is wrong and they are looking for a cure. Don't forget, the president was on Red's agenda before. So he knows about him and the First Lady and her issues for sure. It's pure speculation of course but it hit me.

Liz and Red. Hm... I'm still not sure if we're supposed to forget that she got him into prison or if Red will keep searching for that person now that he is free. I hope he will because I can't imagine him letting it go. I want this confrontation and fast.

Her telling Ressler that she is giving up on her search to find out who he is... Nice but too late for me. I honestly believe that she meant what she said but I'm with you guys regarding Ressler. I bet he'll continue. His reaction just spoke volumes.

Samar... I saw this coming. How stupid she was, getting this guy killed. I really blame her and I'm super mad at her for not saying anything earlier. She knew how bad it was and it could very well have been one of the task force members.
Her not even telling Cooper was sad. I wish she would have done so. She should have continued her therapy so she would be able to deal with the situation at least a bit better. Because right now she can't at all.

Omg about the First Lady. I'm totally in agreement. We know he is as working on this conspiracy before he got arrested, already lining the pieces up. Darn I wanted him to save Samar. But I think you are correct in what will happen.

Yes Donna. I want Red to leave and Liz to have to chase him for a while. I want him angry enough to leave. I found a fanfic that I posted on that thread where Red is truly angry at Liz and he's ready to get even. The first two chapters are very dark but still speak to the reaction I want him to have.
