episode synopsis

Red directs the Task Force to investigate Roanoke, a legendary criminal who orchestrates elaborate extractions. Meanwhile, Liz works to hatch a secret plan with her mother, Katarina Rostova (guest star Laila Robins).

I’m not excited. First time ever. I could literally wait to watch the episode. That’s so sad to me.

And the whole premise that Liz is going dark is just silly to me. Hasn’t she been dark for a while now. The writers act like this is new. It’s not new. It’s just more of the same.

I’d be more excited if they said liz and Red get back to S1 normal

Marilyn, you are excited You're the one who is allowed to see the episode again. Honestly I hope we get a really open face to face with Red and Liz this season... Her finally doing what she was tempted to do for such a long time. It's a lot easier to watch then her being so fake.

Kris I was mad at the show and all it takes is one episode to sucker me right back in.

I was so sad to see Doms replacement. But I enjoyed his character and thought he did a good job acting. But it was so sad.

I so cant stand liz. And it makes me so mad that she betrayed the team and they don’t care. I totally can’t beleive how Katarina played her. And I can’t believe with all the talk about a blackmail file that liz didn’t once think of the fulcrum.

I think her kissing Ressler was fake. No real feelings there. I’m curious to see what everyone else thought.

It was good to see Red again. I have missed him. Him and Dembe at the end really got me.

You know what's funny? Since I didn't have big expectations and expected the worst I wasn't angry at all. The I don't care attitude helps to watch the show, to endure it.

Liz is pure hate... Sorry, but I really hate her and there is nothing more to add. Oh, and besides of it she is soooo stupid. Congrats profiler

I can't believe that the team would let her do it and that they don't care. That they kind of understand and even kind of refused to go on a manhunt for her... I don't get why they don't finally see and that they all, even Cooper, blame it on Red It really gets old. She is a grown up woman and she makes her own decision and she damn has to take responsibility for them FINALLY! This writing is just crap

What she did with Ressler, man, that was sooo low. She is using him and his feelings for her. I hate her for that even more... And the kiss was just to get the gun because she knew he would take her in.

Doms replacement really did a great job but yeah, it was sad that it wasn't Brian we saw there...

How shocked Red was when Liz called him.

Thought it was an ok premier, but Liz what has gone so wrong with you.

Liz is such a gullerble person and she is taking everything her "mother" says and believing it. I'm still not sure that she is her mother! and yes Ressler, the team and Reddington like that. I mean I know she wants the truth, but chucking everything away to get it. Liz is so getting on my nerves. The writers have really chucked her under a bus.

I thought the actor who played Dom was good, but Brian

I totally skipped S07 just for it's poor writing (Even James Spader's charishma couldn't save it) and will continue to do so. I have no problem with the rift/conflict between Red and Liz but it has to be in sensible/convincing way (not making Liz so dumb when it comes to choose Red vs her mom(?) ).

I enjoy more reading this page than watching the show, Big thanks for saving my another 45-minutes.

Didn't think I could hate Liz more than I did but I do. Time and time again she keeps lying to everyone's face and the team yet again believed her and she betrayed them!

and Ressler.. she betrayed Ressler so bad! and then we get a kiss which I hated and that is something big since I am a Keenler shipper but she played him. I really hope after this Ressler is going to do everything in his power to find her and make sure she will end up in jail with her mother where she belongs. I am so done with Liz. So done.

Okay so Dom was recast.. Didn't see that coming and allthough I really miss Brian, I really like this actor as well.

Totally agree with all the below. Liz makes me sick. She tries to act like she’s really thinking about her choice but we all know she’s not. I knew she would never choose Red. I think I finally made her stop playing ME. I didn’t once expect her to do the right thing.

And that’s why I agree so much with all the below. She has no reason for this. As red says, he has a right to have this. And she had those flashbacks to S1 where Red tells her he’s not her father. She should have realized he never lied to her about that. She just didn’t beleive him. He even told her everything about him was a lie. That was also true. As much as he’s done for her, why can’t she just trust him? I get so sick of this same plot over and over.

And I think Katerina lied that Dom was prostituting her at 15. I don’t believe that.

And so the Archive is made up of 13 files. One of them has to be the fulcrum. How is Liz not making that connection. And she knows her mother had part of it. Kaplan put it in the rabbit. I don’t get that. She hasn’t even asked.

Hey there Great to see you pass by Feel free to do so whenever you want. And you know what? It's nice to hear that others are out there who feel the same... I really love the conflict, too. I could even enjoy it if it would have some brain. But all we get is dumb

Miranda, I was expecting you to be so mad about the kiss and feel betrayed by what they did, what Liz did. I felt the same although I don't even ship them.

Crazy (Oh man, I feel so bad because I forgot your name again I'm so sorry.), it's the same for you with Liz as with all of us. I simply don't get her anymore. I don't understand her decisions. They make no sense.

And the team, really... Don't even get me started. It drives me nuts that they all blame Red and that Liz is still the angel

Marilyn, you know what? When we got the flashbacks, where Red tells her that he is a criminal, that he is a notorious liar, that everything about him is a lie and that he is not her father. He was honest with her! And she still chose her mother. I don't get it...

I'm really curious if the Fulcrum is somehow involved in this But it very well could, right? Judging by how important that night of the fire is for the show and that she was there and had the file or better wanted it.

Yes, like they replaced her with some alien You know, sometimes I was wondering if it simply was my love for Red that prevented me to really see how bad he is and that Liz is acting like everybody would... But since I'm not alone in this, I guess it's not my blind love for Red. It's just what really happens and we don't understand because you simply can't.

I thought the same that i was blind because he is my favorite character. But it can’t be all of us.

And what gets me is there have been truths in what red told her. She knew he wasn’t her father. She knew he was there the night she killed her father and that he had her memories taken to protect her. She knows that he had a family and “bills to pay”. She knows his father excommunicated him. She’s got details. She knows how and where he found Dembe. I’m sure parts of his other stories are true.

The part that gets me is we’ve never see her put the clues together. We’ve never seen her think about what he’s told her. She should make one of those boards with everything she knows About red. I think she could figure it out if she just tried.

I mean he told her in s1 he wasnt her dad. How on earth in S5 does she immediately beleive that he is

I've been seeing it for a couple of seasons, but always thought maybe she would actually wake up and see what she is doing
