episode synopsis

As Red fights for his life, he pleads with Liz to track down Leonard Caul - a mysterious figure from his past with knowledge of The Fulcrum. It's a race against time for the task force to locate Caul before Red's life is threatened again, while Tom proves helpful in an unexpected way.

Well that was certainly interesting. Now we have to wonder about Liz's mother...

OMFG! That was hell of a bunch of information! I definitely need to watch it again!

First of all, Red survived because Lizzie saved him by proving to the Director that Red has the Fulcrum! Great move and I really am wondering if they really have copies. Or is it just a bluff??? It's so sad that we didn't get more information on the file...

That secret flat of Red's I definitely need to re-watch those scenes and see what I can find in the background... Anything that might give us answers.

And that picture, it definitely is a woman on that picture and I bet it's Lizzie's mother! It definitely makes sense. And the Director knowing her? How??? Especially if she really should be a Russian. We recall Lizzie's real name being Masha and that's a Russian name. So her mom must be Russian as well or she was an undercover agent as well

Connolly... I knew he was somehow involved with the cabal and there you go... That bit**! Although I was wondering if he really did it because he wanted it. He seemed so different when the Director told him that he has a place in the cabal now. Was that just me?

Man, I love Mr. Kaplan and Dembe! They had some of the best scenes with Red.

And yes, even the Red/Tom scene was great. I really loved that Tom helped Red in the end. I'm wondering what this will mean for the future. But how does Tom know a lot about Red??? Through Berlin?

Tom/Liz, yeah, I guess I don't need to say anything... I'm so not a fan of it. I think it just stupid what the authors try to pull of here.

Oh, and Liz being a cheater? Wow, bravo Lizzie... I thought better of you.

Poor Aram for Cooper finding out he's been working for Red (or better Liz) when it came to the Fulcrum.

there are no words to describe how elated i am that tom is officially back in the fold! i still think he's going to die though. lol. until then, can we take a moment and admire how liz got hearts in her eyes for tom when she saw he was still there? no? how about the promo... and that hug!?

This ep. is pretty intense,a lot of information.
But what irks me is the Red's explanation of his history with Tom and what Tom said by Red's bedside.They're contracdited with what we leared from season 1.I have no idea what the writers are thinking.
Tom just took the spotlight and Red's sitting the back seat now. Liz keeps going back to Tom. And the hug from the next ep. promo,seriously? TPTB
Liz and Ressler didn't share a scene
I'm worried they will kill off Ressler.

Okay call me freakin' crazy but what if The Director is Liz's real father?? I mean he must have known Liz's mother cause he told her she looks like her. That idea is be swirling in my mind ever since!

I loved how Liz became all badass and went to Director to show him The Fulrcrum and therefore saving Red's life! I just don't know if I would have left that device with the Director. She sais she had copies and I do believe that but if she doesn't have the device to play it those copies are worthless right?

When Liz went to Red's appartment and found those pictures! The one from the little girl and her mother that must be Liz and her mother. I just wonder why Dembe sent her to his appartment. He would known she would see the pictures. Did he do it a purpose cause Dembe wanted her to find out because he knows Red is never gonna tell her? I mean he could have got it himself althought I loved it so much that he wanted to stay with Red.

Red and Dembe. That bedside scene was amazing! They care so much for eachother!

Mr. Kaplan. She was so badass in this episode. I loved seeing her like that! I loved the fact that Red wanted to protect her by telling her that she needed to leave. Because of what he told her I really think she is the person to make decision for Red if he is not capable of that anymore himself.

Connolly. What can I say. I still think he is a douche but I think he is being blackmailed himself as well. By the Director. His face when he was sitting with the Director wasn't his smug self. So I saw that too Kris. I wonder what the Director has on him.

Tom and Liz. Also what can I say? I did like the bedside scene with Tom and Red though. I never expected that too happen. I am also kinda of glad that Tom helped Red's team to eliminate the others even if he only did it for Liz. As far as Liz asking him for help. Bad move. He will never know the things that Red knows about Liz so that's just a loss cause I think.

I was really bummed about the lack (once again) of Ressler, Samar and Aram.

Yeah, Ressler, Aram and Samar really were in the background in this episode. More than in the background. I'm hopeful for the next episode since it for sure will have some of Samar in it.

Red surrendered himself because he wanted to keep Liz safe?
I recall it is someone was after him,destroyed his business,so he stepped up and found out the one who Tom worked for.TL have been together at least three years since they met.How can you be sure Tom was in love with her?he showed up after they've been married for two years.

Red obviously was watching her all the time! I think he's got a good ability in judging people, in knowing how they are feeling. And I bet that's how he was able to tell.

And he didn't just surrender because he wanted to keep Liz safe. It was just some of it like he told her when she asked if that was all of it...

I don't really feel like Tom and Liz are at the center of the show. I feel like Liz is at the center and they are focusing on her struggles with Red and with Tom. I still feel like the show centers around Red/Liz first and Tom/Liz second. But it mostly centers around Liz and how she's coping with everything.

I didn't get the vibe that he was her dad, but I do think that if he knows who her mom is - he also knows who her dad is. I am surprised that Liz didn't ask him. It seems like she has opportunities to ask questions and just doesn't do it. Kind of bugs me because I would definitely be asking. It also makes me wonder if the entire group knows the true identity of Liz. Why do all these high level cabal members know who Liz is? Seems odd to me that Red feels the need to go above and beyond to cover her identity and who her parents are when it seems like there could potentially be a lot people who already know.
