Oh no!

I have all types of company this week, so I am on serious cleaning overdrive. With the wedding and party, the cleaning I usually do on the weekend didn't get done, so now my house is a disaster and I have pretty much until 7 tonight to make it perfect.

That's usually the way it goes, especially in the summer. There is just so much to do, house cleaning ends up last.

I'm still working on it. I was supposed to go cut stockings today, but I got a letter in the mail that Krystal is receiving an award at the award ceremony today, so obviously I will go there instead.
I am watching Once Upon A Time while the laundry is going. I guess its a kind of break.

I had such a good time with my friend last night. She used to be my neighbor when we lived in apartment building, and my husband and I both went to school with her too. It was so comfortable just hanging out.
I know I was just complaining about the cold, but the heat today is awful. No air conditioners yet. Our bedroom one died last summer.

Today was pretty warm too. but apparently rain is coming in tomorrow...so I sucked up all the heat I could get.

I am sunburned and hot. I went to lunch with my Mom, Grandma and Aunt from North Carolina. I drank 2 sangrias and then came home and took my kids to the lake and baked in the sun for a few hours. Tomorrow I think is an inside day, at least for the most part. I may be baby-sitting.

The docotor's office called today, she wants me to come in...that can't be good. but i hope it's nothing.

I hope it is nothing too.

It was raining this morning, so I stayed in. The sun is starting to peek out now, but I think I am just going to be lazy. Going to my Grandma's at 4:30 for dinner and then my boss asked if I could take care of the ponies today too.

Turned out she just wanted to go over what the other doctor had to say, so nothing bad.

The power went out today...in the middle of General Hospital. I was so ticked off! It was a Nathan/Maxie day.

My husband picked up an extra day of work, so I have a friend coming over and we're going to hang out at the lake with the kids.

I am glad it was just a review of what the other doctor had to say.

More rain did come in, the winds were insane. it got pretty scary for awhile.

Pretty soon, your skin wont be able to burn anymore.

Yes, it is pretty cool I guess, but I get tired of watching it. We only have 2 tv's. One in the living room and one in the playroom. The one in the playroom has a DVD player and the living room has the PS3. So he has to play in the living room.

I hate storms. They scare me.
