It's kind of funny they had her return for one more episode (the season 5 premiere) to become a crazy person who cuts Derek and scares for a minute with a fake pregnancy. It was like wtf? But it made it impossible for anyone to defend her or like her character after that so maybe it was a good move lol.
I haaaaaated the Rose storyline so much - but now I watch season 4 with enjoyment because it's A LOT different when you know the candle house is coming. I love how strong Mer is for going to Dr. Wyatt ... those scenes are amazing and Ellen absolutely shines in them. __________________

I think I'm good watching any episode now, except I do find Derek's death to be the hardest one ... I'm not good watching that one.

Oh, I did. Ellen is BRILLIANT in her scenes, she's just amazing - that alone made me not miss it. And Patrick is very, very good in the first half of the epi - really made Derek a hero.
I've watched it three times. When it aired, obviously. And then I watched it with my mom when she got to it b/c she wanted me to. And then I had a friend I had gotten hooked on Greys and she kind of insisted I watch it with her since I had gotten her into the show in the first place. __________________

I am right now watching the beginning of season 8 and it is so hard for me to watch... **** i really am bothered by it... but Ellen and Mer is so beautiful in the episodes... but omg it is so hard to watch... i really have a hard time watching them..
Derek's death episode is hard to watch as well and yes some great acting... but damn it is hard... i actually find the episode after hard as well like really hard... with all the flashbacks and sadness... and i have watched them more than once... like 4 or 5 times which hard and i still start to cry and feel all sad... and have my mom asking what is going on.. I actually have many episodes i find hard to watch bc i get too emotional/upset and enganged... |

Yeah, I don't avoid episodes that are hard to watch. And Derek's death was a particularly important one so I really needed to see the whole thing for myself. I feel strongly that people can't really judge something unless they see it, and those who stopped watching three years ago and yet try to judge Greys now REALLY prove my point. They sound so ignorant and clueless when they try to discuss something they only know snippets of from twitter. It's pretty ridiculous.
