I think that is such a wonderful AU fic and a lot of people consider it canon, as painful as it may be. But as the author said, despite it being an AU and a slight fix-it, there can be no absolute fix-it for the AU in which Derek survives his TBI.

It does take a lot out of you. It did for me, at least.

I love that fic alot, I always think about what an amazing storyline would've been for MD/E/P.

Derek would have been soooo proud of his wife for getting Head of General.
