Well, the new character won’t change that. Alex was getting ignored anyhow, with people like Deluca and Amelia and even Glasses getting more screen time than him for the last couple seasons.

It should be Mer as the main focus, and a balance between the rest of the characters ... but the writers really struggle with that, or they don't understand it should be like that.
