Amelia told Mer that Nathan's wife Megan, who went missing ten years ago and was believed to be dead, has been found alive. Meredith said she would be the one to tell Nathan the news. The last episode ended with Mer going to the hospital to tell him, and an explosion happened in the hospital right when she arrived (she saw it from outside).
