I'm not sure if I'm ordering this or not yet, but I am picking Randy to win the RR... even though I think it'll be the wrong move on the WWE's part.

Since I ordered it, I'll make sure to tell everyone what's going on match by match and who comes in and all that stuff :-D

Bianca, thanks for putting up the thread! I don't think I'm gonna get it....so Age, make sure you fill us in.

As for picks....I'm going with either Edge or Orton. It will be interesting to see if they are the last two left, I'm sure they'll turn on each other.

Then again you can't rule out HBK too. Should be good.

Sorry it took me so long to post the updates, I deleted my damn cookies and then forgot my password.

Anyway, here's what's going on.

MNM versus Hardyz: Pretty good match. They played up the revenge angle and MNM really tried to teach the hardy boyz a lesson, but it didn't work. Hardyz won (Best part of the match was after Melina screamed, King asked if that's what that noise was and JR said he didn't know, he hadn't made a lot of women scream before. )

Lashley vs test: The most boring match I've ever seen, it ended when Test gave up and just walked out of the match to get a count out. Lashley wasn't happy getting that win so he ran up, dragged Test back into the ring and then beat his ass!!. Lashley wins after test does countout

Mr. Kennedy vs. Batista: JBL screamed for Michael to shut up during this match and said it was like working with a parent. Kennedy started bleeding from the nose and then while putting Batista in a submission move, he started licking the blood from mustach area, it looked nasty. There was one point where it looked like Kennedy was going to win, but the ref was knocked out so no vail. Batista won

Umaga vs Cena: Sidenote: As usual, Umaga has his golds on!!! Cena really plays up his injury during this match. He wasn't even jumping around when he was coming to the ring, he just slowly came down to the ring, held up his belt and then just stared at Umaga. (Another sidenote: Before the Batista/Kennedy match, Vince met with Cena and told him he couldn't see the younger male being the champion after tonight.) Umaga really paid a lot of attention to Cena's abs especailly since they were heavily bandaged. Best part of the match for me was when Umaga threw the stairs into the ring and Cena got up, picked the stairs up, and threw them back over the rope and hit Umaga in the head with it. After that Umaga tried to throw the steps into the corner of the ring and then run and hit cena's head up against the stairs, but Cena moved and Umaga bounced into the stairs (this should really tell umaga not to mess with the stairs anymore ). Cena causes himself to bleed when he tries to FU Umaga on a a pair of steps (yeah, THOSE steps) and his back gives out on him and Cena smacks his head on the stairs. Nasty bloodage. Estrada ripped off the top rope and gave it to umaga to use as a weapon, but cena ended up FU'ing umaga and then using it on him, then basically choking umaga out. Cena wins

Royal Rumble Seems like Michael Cole, JBL, and the King are commentating. YAY

As much as I LOVED seeing it come down between Shawn and 'Taker (I've been waiting for that rematch for almost ten years now) and how ridiculously happy I was to see the chem is still there between them (Which now means I want that match for real, WWE. You have no excuse. Give it to me.), I'm not completely sure they should have done it.

Taker's pop for winning really sucked compared to what it should have been.

For a second there I just knew they were going to give it to Shawn since it was in his hometwon, but im glad they didnt. Taker deserved it

I think they overbooked him on SD going into this, but I'm glad he finally has a Rumble win on his resume now.

What's sad is after those last eight or nine minutes of the RR, I now have absolutely no interest whatsoever in Batista/Taker though. I don't want to watch him attempt to drag one 41 year old to something watchable when there's another 41 year old that he can tear the house down with just along the way, on the other brand with no better options himself either right now.

you think Batista would have to drag Taker or the other way around? I'd rather watch a Taker match any day than have to see Batista in the ring.

The Survivor

I didn't get the PPV but I am glad the champions retained their belts (didn't think any of them were going to drop the belts tonight anyway) and I am glad The Undertaker won the Royal Rumble. He definitely earns a title shot and he hasn't been in the championship main event at Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 13 when he defeated Psycho Sid.

Taker would have to drag Batista.

Taker = good worker. Batista = bad worker (I used to like him a lot for what he was, but he honestly hasn't even been carryable since his return from injury; I don't think Benoit could get a good match out of him at this point.).

;lol: I totally agree with you. He's been somewhat of a bore since he came back. The only time I was into Batista was when he was teamed with eddie,...dont think that's going to happen anytime soon
