Bringing over the images posted by vortex at the end of the last thread because they are beautiful and some might have missed them:

No problem!

Will we watch part two next week-end/week?

Sounds good.

I'll go update the title of the rewatch thread and stick it up at the top of the board around Friday, in case someone notices it and wants to join us.

He looks very hot as Prince Hal, but i'm sorry, while i'm sure this show is very good i can't seem to grasp Shakespearian language too much. Its kinda...confusing in a way. I need like a transcript with translations to know wtf they're talking about.

The first time I watched it I missed whole parts of the dialogue, too. I could only catch lines here and there.
I had to go and read the play and then go back to watch the whole thing to have any decent understanding.

I had to watch it twice too. The first time I was too distracted to understand the dialect

I think i had to do something like this when i watch Leo Dicaprio and Claire Danes in that Romeo & Juliet movie. Its an ok movie and all but i was like...huh with what they're saying. I honestly thought they would modernize it and give us a translation...not stay with the Shakespearian language...

I think they steer clear from making big changes to/modernizing the language because when you touch huge classics there are always people ready to stone you for messing with what is considered already perfection.

I don't mind, but I need to do some homework before I can enjoy them.
In my case it's worse because I'm not a native English speaker, nor I have a perfect grasp of it.

The cause was either an infection or dysentery, if I remember correctly.
