No I don't think the season is good. To me it's more like an "almost good".
I mean there are so many incoherence and non sense and useless scenes and... that this season can't be good. But if they had follow the books, stay pretty close and don't invent some awful storylines (like the Jon/Bran/mutineers) the season would've been good. |

I like this season but it's not an amazing or epic or breathtaking season as I can read.
Kings Landing is the best part and I enjoyed everything (minus the Cersei rape). This is because the showrunners love this storyline and take time to build it so it easy to get such great scenes. The others storylines are either useless (Jon/Bran) or boring (Daenerys) or here just to fill the episodes. The whole season so far is representing by one word for me: "waste". I think they pass so much time to build and destruct poor storylines that it's crazy! I mean why not following the books?? When you have such a great material why going to invent pointless things that add nothing to the plot?? The Free Folk is the big loser of this joke!! But I say nothing.... |

Oh yes it's a great serie if you take only the "serie" side. I have nothing to say about that.
But sadly it's an adaptation and when you adapt a book you can't cut part like that just because you don't like this or that storyline. When you adapt a book you have to treat every plot in the same way. You have to do that by fidelity to the books and by respect for the author. |

 But I'm still waiting Free Folk scenes to add some points in the "good side" of the season. |
