It's not necessarily my kind of show, either. I'm not really interested in whatever the writers think "modern feminism" is. BUT, the friendships among the women are really fun to watch - and not something you see on television a lot. It reminded me a little of Mary and her ladies in waiting at the beginning of Season 1 of Reign. It's sweet. And the woman who is the head of the magazine is pretty awesome, too. So I'll give it a chance.

I must have missed Dan's character when I was watching (unless he's not in the premiere). I'm looking forward to seeing if he'll be a good guy, or not.

Dan's character in The Bold Type is pretty swoon-worthy. BUT, the show itself is definitely what I would call a "guilty pleasure" for me. i.e., I would be slightly (if not a lot) mortified to watch it with my mom.

I'm pretty sure that's everyone's first observation about Dan. Ridiculously handsome. Can't wait to see what else you think about James when you get to know him better.

I've seen up though 4x10 and I love James. I hope he'll be back and not banished for the rest of the show. I want he and Greer to get together. I do feel sorry for Emily though.

As for whether or not James returns to court... you'll just have to watch and see.

James is Sadly, I've been too busy to catch up with The Bold Type. I watched the first few episodes, and I really enjoyed them. You are right - definitely a good guilty pleasure show. I loved how Dan's character was introduced and I really want to see how his relationship with Jane develops.
