nick.slater: My brain works best in the morning so this week I’m trying a 7am-3ish workday. I’ve found two things interesting: 1. Waking up, doing my morning routine and sitting down to work (with coffee) has reduced distractions in the morning. Minimising choices first thing has helped me get into flow for focused work. 2. When I finish at 3pm, I give myself permission to take the afternoon off and explore/workout. I’m usually constantly checking e-mails and notifications so this has helped me with balance. Whether I stick with this or not, I still think the key to any productive workday is waking up early. It creates more hours in your day and then you can schedule exercise around when you do your best work 💪🏽 (I made a YouTube video on my Morning Routine if you’re interested!) __________________

Dad told me he wasn’t afraid because he had lived a good life which gave me a lot of comfort and still does today. When I think about children with brain cancer, it breaks my heart knowing their life could be taken before an opportunity to live a full life.
