I suppose shipping real people can get awkward or inappropriate when fans constantly share their fantasy with the two individuals and tell them that they should date / be together. But I wouldn't call it "creepy." The heart wants what the heart wants.
Sure, some of it is blurring the line between fantasy and reality. It's easy to confuse onscreen chemistry with off screen chemistry. But, to be fair, there can be legitimate reasons to think that two people would be really good together (and good for each other) in real life. We begin to feel like we really know certain celebrities - especially after listening to them interviews and following them all over social media. We may even get a sense of the "couples" real life relationship if we see them together in interviews, on social media, etc. We get a sense of their real life personalities, and we feel like we are qualified to play match-maker - even when we're not. __________________

Thinking they might make a good coup and actually shipping them are a little different. There's nothing wrong with the first, but you can't change my mind. Shipping real people is creepy. Especially when you actually tell them about it.

I ship Cookie and Lucious from Empire .. like really ship them! They are amazing and have amazing chemistry... but I don't ship Taraji and Terrence together in real life... they don't give me reasons to ship them at all... Alan and Megan do...
Alan has liked soooo many tweets where we all mentioned ALGAN like really a lot back then during S2 and before S2 started. __________________
