Was just looking at the OP and the next titles. You used to think I was just a shallow girl who liked nice jewels and parties. Am I wrong or we're back to that?

This is so depressing, but I think all the characters in the show think of Kenna that way, Bash is back to being one of them

It is a coincidence that you bring this up today bcz since I needed some positive KB moments, I watched back few episodes including the plague...

And while watching Kenna act with Pascal, I thought : this was the new Kenna, a better person from the one of the beginning... She cared for Pascal, she wanted to save him, she secured him in his last moments, she risked her life/health to go out of her chamber to find him...

Marriage changed her imo... Maybe not as much as some would have liked, but we saw a character evolution...

In life, you cannot become a new person overnight... It takes time to apply what you learn from your new experiences...

That's why I keep hope that despites all and against many people opinion, she makes the right choice further to Antoine's offer... And I also keep hope that Bash can learn too from this experience...

But you're right, Kenna is a different person since she married. Or better yet, Kenna has always been that person, she just had no idea. She has a great, great heart, a strong sense of duty and something maternal about her. To dismiss her as some renaissance party girl would be a mistake because seriously a noblewoman in those time would merely sew and party all the time. So she just wants to have a good time while performing exactly what she's meant to be doing. I think Bash knows Kenna's character but for some reason in S2 he forgot. He's only seeing an aspect of her he disapproves of.
