Robin... I think you summed up my reaction pretty well. This episode was quite the emotional roller coaster. (Well...Frary in general is an emotional roller coaster. ) I knew it was coming, but nothing could have prepared me for it.

It went from pure, sheer JOY...











To complete, utter, crushing DEVASTATION...



To bittersweet sadness and HOPE .....Francis really was the sweetest.



What am I looking forward to seeing in the rewatch? ALL OF IT.

It was no problem. Hopefully at some point, a trivia can be set up to involve the EuroFraries as well. Also, I did vote on the episode survivor to break the tie.

When I first watched this episode, I remember smiling just as much as Francis when she told him about her pregnancy. I was basically over the moon. To this day, I'd have to say 2x04 is probably hands-down my favorite episode of S2, simply for the magnificent and emotional scenes. "You are my light"... I everytime I think, hear, or read it!

I love the parallels between his holding and comforting her and her comforting him in the finale. There are no words.
And lastly, as for the rewatch, I most likely won't be joining in on this one because I just rewatched it when I was writing up the trivia. I will, however, tell you what I loved the most and what I had looked forward to going into it...
I loved watching (as Heather called it) the interruptus coitus scene. I still grin like a maniac during that scene (not to mention, the audio in the episode I watched was pitched and so the moaning and panting in the scene sounded like Mary and Francis had just inhaled a tank of helium...). I also really enjoyed watching the argument scene between Mary and Lola. As for what I looked forward to was reliving it. I love watching something I've watched before and noticing little things I never noticed before, experiencing the emotions and joy again, and most importantly, being reminded all over again exactly why I fell in love and still love these two so much.

Oh I tried watching the season 2 premiere with pitched audio (for research purposes when making trivia), and I just couldn't. It was just not right! Props to you for doing that though.

I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to join for the rewatch. I am very much looking forward to it.

Hey Andrea do you want to do trivia next (and possibly the mad lib too) for next week? Actually On my July Calendar I have next week as off b/c of 4th of JULY...we do not have to do that. I have the 2.05 Throwback Thursday scheduled for July 9th, so trivia could actually be Tuesday July 7th??? We could have trivia next week just for fun though, and it could be like a mis-mosh of all Season 2?

Please give me your thoughts and ideas on this guys...Should we kind of "skip next week" for just rewatch or for all hiatus events things? We can do those Survivors...

Believe me, I laughed for the first 5 minutes of the episode. I kind of had to deal with it after that because I wasn't able to find any other links that worked.

I'd personally like to have some sort of events next week. The survivors would be fun, and if Andrea is able to do trivia and/or the madlib, then that should be super fun too. It's totally up to you guys, but I know that I won't be any more busy 4th of July week than I am any other week.

Oh, it's not that I "can't". It's just idk... I figured since I've watched it so recently, I may not be in the mood to watch it again, but I'm like 99.8% certain I'm only saying that because I don't feel well today. I mean, when I think about it, what am I saying? It's Reign! Of course I'll be in the mood to watch it. I'll fast forward through Conde, though.
I would just need to find a link to a non-pitched version of the episode and see how quickly I can get through some of the packing I need to do tomorrow. I can definitely try to join you all again, though. It's wonderful spending time with you all. What time would the rewatch start?

I feel the same way. I would love to do some sort of hiatus events next week. I personally won't be that much busier. Hopefully the survivors will keep us busy, and if Andrea is able to pull together the mad lib and/or the trivia, that would be great. As I said, I'm open to whatever the majority want to do.


Oh, it's perfectly fine if you're not in the mood for a rewatch. It really is fun when there are good group of us participating, though. The rewatch starts at 8 PM CST (so 7 PM MDT, 9 PM EST).

So that's 7 pm MST? I don't see why I couldn't participate... I'll have to set a reminder on my phone, but I think I can make it.

Also... I think I'll vote #9... I mean, I still remember the conviction in which Francis said it, and how my heart shattered when he said it to her because I loved Frary from the get-go, but to read it now still hurts and I have more of a positive attachment to the other quotes. If that makes sense.
