Yes, 1x07 was such a wonderful episode for them, with plenty of angst and passion - PLUS them FINALLY coming to their senses at the end and realizing that they need to be together (which we all knew from the beginning ). It's a shame that their happiness only lasted about another half of an episode.

And now Episode 1x08. BEST OPENING OF AN EPISODE EVER. And our first proposal.

Ah yes It was so beautiful and yet so realistic. I always had issues with sentences like "I will never upset you" or "I will always make you happy" or these such phrases in proposals in shows/movies because obviously it's not possible and at some points you will make the others person upset (even if unwillingly), but the fact that this proposal even referred to arguing, speak volumes, I really liked it

It really was. Rewatching it made me appreciate it even more. Mina is so right. It's very realistic - especially compared with many of the other proposals we see in movies and tv. He's offering her a true partnership of equals, with all of the ups and downs that come with that. It's SO beautiful.

Episode 1x09. Gah, I love the angst of their reunion in this episode. Both of them are so determined. And I always get a kick out of Catherine at the end (1.27 mark of the 4th vid). CATHERINE IS ALL OF US.

Sadly this has been a pattern for them that happened over and over (being so happy but by the end of epi being so sad, like 2.04 and 3.05 ).

Sooo, I made a vid but I'm not quite sure if posting it here is appropriate/relevant, I mean one of the characters I included is Mary (which is the half of Frary obviously, lol) and also the subject of it is women power and the possible struggles women may face, so I think you ladies might relate to it or enjoy it. Of course! It would probably be most appropriate in the Mary thread, but seeing as this thread has more frequent posters, it makes sense to share it here. I watched it and it was great! So inspiring. (I haven't seen Bridgerton yet, but that vid is quite a good argument that I should. )

I agree with voting for #1 this round. Of course, the scene is incredibly precious. However, their childlike joy and the running, smiling and kissing are what really stand out about that moment - not what is happening with their hands. I suppose you could make the same argument about the kiss in #3. But I just love the way he cradles her face in his hands throughout their entire conversation.

Thanks so much Keri! and yes, it's a good show, you totally should watch it I watched it recently and enjoyed it. I even could find parts of myself in many of the characters, so in a way, I could relate to many of them (which was somewhat new to me, because normally l can relate to one or two characters the most in a show, lol).

And back to the scene vids. We've come to episode 1x13 and the wedding that made an entire fandom explode. I'm confident that if we went back in the Frary threads here and read the conversations right after this episode aired, it would be VERY entertaining.
