I think that's one of the things that I didn't like about him. He was trying to lure Lisbon to work for him, but then he also seemed to want a personal relationship with her.

I never got creepy vibes from him. Like with Bertram, he just seemed...incompetent :lol:

Incompetent is a good word. But I think we were meant to be predisposed to think that, since he was brought in to take over the Red John case. He basically spends his first episode being made a fool of by Jane.

Yeah he was probably a good detective but Jane makes a fool out of almost everyone :lol:

And Jane had good reason to want Haffner to look bad.

I just discovered that I'm obligated to like Reed Diamond more than I did, because he went to my school. :lol: I gotta support a fellow TarHeel.

I also just found out he's been on Designated Survivor

I'm still not crazy about Haffner, though.
