Nicholas "Nick" Burkhardt is a Grimm and
police detective for the Portland Police Department.
Nick did not learn about his heritage until 2011 when his
powers began to manifest. Since then he has become
Grimm of Portland, and thus protects the innocent
from the hidden dangers around them, all the while
trying to find an equilibrium between his ancestors'
barbaric past and his own morals and ethics.

David Giuntoli was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (June 18, 1980),
but raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He was educated at
St. Louis University High School and moved on to
Indiana University Bloomington, where he graduated
with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business
and Finance.

Giuntoli relocated to Los Angeles to forge a career in
acting, and joined the Echo Theater Company. His first
television appearances, however, were on reality shows
The Challenge (1998) and Road Rules (1994). Acting
success followed with roles in, amongst others, Privileged
(2008) and Eli Stone (2008). In 2011, Giuntoli was cast
in the leading role of
Nick Burkhardt in NBC's Grimm (2011).

I just checked and it's not part of the US Netflix streaming service. You can get it on DVD but it costs more money to get DVDs. I only pay for the streaming part of it.

It's the only way that I can watch Grimm. They stopped airing Grimm here after Season 4.

When Adalind pretended she was Juliette and became pregnant and had that weird storyline in Season 4 the ratings fell each weak. It went from a Monday night with great ratings to a Monday night with a really really bad ratings. They went from 2 Million viewers (Season 3 )to 800.000 viewers (Season 4).

yeah I think most viewers were not into the whole Nick/Adalind storyline. I personally did not really ship them. I would have preferred for Juliette and Nick to work things out but it didn't make stop watching.

I didn't like the way they made Nick/Adalind a couple. It was wrong in so many ways.

I think if they had choosen it a different way to make Adalind/Nick happen, I wouldn't have had a problem with them being a couple.

I agree. The way they write the storyline for the creation of the couple has a lot to do with how viewers see and accept the couple.
