Definitions:

Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen are people who are aware of Wesen. Most Royals fit into this category, as well as humans who have been told of Wesen.

And here's a person trying to interpret the German terms:

Quote:

A human and a Wesen will have a wesen child if the human is Kehrseite-Genträger, which means they carry the wesen genes of their (wesen) parent and pass them down to the child.

A Vorherrscher as Monroe called a child with wesen parents of different species wouldn't be a hybrid. The german word "vorherrschen" means to predominate, so their child will be either Blutbad or Fuchsbau, depending on whose genes are stronger.

A Phansigar is a Komodo dragon-like Wesen that appeared in 4x06, "Highway of Tears".

Appearance -
http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2...406-promo9.jpg

Characteristics -
Phansigars look similar to their cousin, the Skalengeck, but they have a long tongue that is used to choke their victims and they have scales that cover their whole body.

Behavior -
Every three years Phansigars sacrifice a young couple to Kali, by choking them with their tongues to knock them out and then burying them alive.

Entry from Grimm Diary:
Quote:

June 3, 1893, Calcutta: After six weeks in the foul bustee, I encountered my first. It attacked. Fortunately, I had my dagger and was able to slit its throat before it was able to tighten its tongue around mine. Upon close examination, I have concluded that the Phansigar is a particular type of Skalengeck, not dissimilar to the visage of the Komodo dragon. Here in India, the Phansigars hide among the Thuggees, the dreaded Hindu cult of thieves that strangle travelers as a sacrifice to Kali. But I have discovered that the Phansigars have their own brand of human sacrifice. Using their filthy tongues, they choke their victims into silence. These unfortunate souls, always a young couple, are then buried alive. This evil practice must be performed every three years to placate Kali. - Rudyard Kipling

I'm kinda glad it went for the throat, because I initially read it went for the tongue. Yoikes.

NikNak 12-01-2014 05:28 PM

Yikes is an understatement.

Lutesse 12-01-2014 06:19 PM

yw:  - the throat is more than bad enough!

No wonder Wu thinks it's the thing nightmares are made of with all the bad memories he has with tongues

Lutesse 12-02-2014 10:29 AM

Seriously! :goof:
I don't think it will be long before he forces the issue.
I had thought Nick getting his powers back might be the Dec. 12 cliffhanger, but maybe it will be Wu. :look:

oxalys 12-02-2014 10:48 AM

I don't know about a cliffhanger but I agree, I think Wu is a story they are really going to deal with now.
