Episode 11.11 "Christmas!"
Christmas!
When Eric (Stephen Collins) is late coming home from work, Lucy (Beverley Mitchell), Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) and Kevin (George Stults) all start thinking the worst, but Annie (Catherine Hicks) keeps the faith and assures them all is well. While the family waits for him, Eric finds himself in heaven, but is unclear whether he's a permanent resident or just visiting. __________________

so far I am loving this one. I haven't watched in a few weeks but I'm glad I was able to catch this one tonight.
I have a few ideas on some foreshadowing but I wasn't sure if I should go ahead and post them or not. |

Hey speculation is just fine by me.
I actually didn't hate the episode, I guess I'm a sap for a decent Christmas episode and seeing all the people that Eric has helped over the years, or at least a reflection of them, was very nice and shows that one person can change so many other lives for the better. It was a nice message. I thought the family scenes were really nice as well. I wasn't a fan of them dissing Mary yet again, but it wouldn't be 7th Heaven without a little Mary bashing so I digress... Again with the T-Bone/Ruthie pimping. We get it, they're soulmates or some other crap that Brenda pulled out of her butt, we don't need anvils falling all over the place from saints and angels. We get it Brenda! As bad as this might sound, I hope Eric isn't cured, that would be too easy and I actually love the fact that they're so brave as to do a storyline like this. Don't take the easy way out. A true ending to the series focusing on what the children and Annie do without Eric would be very interesting. Don't crap out on us now! __________________

I loved this episode.
And, um, I liked the eraser for Mary- not because of what it was, but because of how Grandma Jenny explained it. Mary won't forgive herself for the gym thing and it all spiraled out of control. Makes good sense to me. My main gripe: she said Mary got kicked out of school. She was never kicked out of school. Lucy fought for her to stay in and she won over the principal. Anyway. nice to get the updates of what everyone was doing and what they needed, where they were going in life. I even liked the random people. I had fun trying to see if I could remember who they were talking about. Martin's mom was the icing on the cake for me. Simply perfect. She didn't look just like Martin (not that that is actually possible, but you know), so that got to me, but in general I thought that was great. And it was nice to kow that Aaron has a purpose in the world, and a good one. The whole thing was sugarcoated and cute, but different enough not to be totally annoying. It worked quite well, amazingly well for htis being 7th Heaven and al. In general, I'm impressed. __________________

I wish they would just get over the whole trashing the gym nonsense. How many years ago was that? It's old now! Mary's grown a lot since then, they need to stop holding it against her.

I loved the Martin's mom scenerio. Thought that was great, and something I never would have thought to throw in there myself. I felt like she was foreshadowing things a lot.
Personally, I haven't believed for a minute that Aaron is Martin's son. I believe he's Simon's. And when them talking about Simon needing "purpose", I wonder if his purpose will be Aaron at some point... and maybe Sandy, cause at one time, she had feelings for him. Heh I got a giggle out of Eric mentioning how Martin was such a good young man with the exeption of knocking Sandy up. That was funny.

Hi! I haven't seen any of the episodes this season, what's with Eric? Is it heart problems again? And does Lucy still doesn't want more kids?

Yep. It's his heart again. Far as I can tell, Lucy does want another child.

Lucy does want to have another child. She and Kevin just went up to San Fransisco for another honeymoon thing. Was that the episode before this one? It might hve been. And Lucy had that scene where she went to see Sandy, but Martin showed up, and she broke down and said she wants to have another go at child-rearing again.
