Please note that the deadline to get applications in is Friday January 30. If you had applied the last time there were moderator openings here, you'll need to reapply, as we don't keep old applications in case people are no longer interested in the position, and besides, we've simplified the application process in recent months.

Just wanted to add to PLEASE be sure to include the name of the board you're applying for and your posting name in the subject of your email application, as well as a correct link to your profile. Just within the last hour or two we've received three applications with profile links that don't work and two applications with blank subject lines, so we have no idea what board the poster is applying for. A moderator needs to have very basic computer skills like being able to link, cut and paste, as well as follow simple directions. So, applications that don't contain the basic information we've asked for certainly don't come off as professional as those that do contain what we need to consider you for the position of moderator.
I've just sent emails to those that need to correct these items, so if you haven't received an email from us about this, assume your application is fine. __________________

We've decided to close the moderator opening on this board at this time because the current moderator feels she doesn't need any additional help moderating this board. Should the situation change and the need arise, we will re-open the position.
