There was Winter Soldier comic series. Nat (Black Widow) got brainwashed and every time she seemed ok, it just revealed more brainwashing. She had surgery to get her memories back, but she didn't remember Bucky. AT ALL.

I hated the ending because they're my OTP in the comics. I want them together.

her getting brainwashed then forgetting him is black widow hunt and I cried when she didn't remember him.

that art is a mix of them in broken arrow and black widow hunt and a couple others I don't know.

Why couldn't she end up remembering him?

Then, Bucky's given the chance to go back with a comic cube and he refuses, but uses it to just a moment with Nat. That was even worse.

I'll say it again. I want Nat to remember everything about their relationship.

Think I should read the Black Widow comics?

I hated that so much.

That made me feel even worse. Because he only had a moment with her.

Yeah, I love that quote. ~~I do think he's a good man, because he feels so guilty and responsible for what he did as the Winter Soldier, even though he's not.~~

yeah even after he got his memory back he still blamed himself for the stuff he did as winter soldier and not of his own control.

One of the reasons I fell in love with Bucky.

It's one of the reasons I thought the Nat not remembering Bucky was so horrible.

It's one of the reasons I love him, too. He remembers and feels for it. And wants to be better. And Natasha has always helped him see that he is a good man.

I just read that one again the other day and it still hurt even the second time. and how he just walked away from her like he thought he was saving her made it even worse.
