Good point. They tried to cover it up, didn't go to the authorities.
I do feel like Tonya's punishment was more intense than the guys' punishments.

Yeah, that's very true. Bascially, don't like to the police or the FBI.

I think her being banned from skating for life made it worse for her then the guys' punishment.

Jeff and Tonya were shocked from the movie. I don't think they knew Shawn was going to send two men after Nancy.
