Besides the more often she appears in the Comics the more likely it gets for her to have a Chance on screen again.

I'm not sure, they might think it's enough to show her there and it won't need live action. This is why I'm very mad a disney for putting so much star wars content (clearly supposed to be in an audio-visual medium) into comics.

Nope with the movies, official star wars comics are only a thing since disney took over in the 2010s, bc they also own marvel and can thus easily release star wars comcis via marvel comics.
