I've said before but I knew Sansa would be wary of her, but I expected her to put on a polite front and use her courtesy as armour like we have seen her successfully do before. But we didn't see Sansa's abilities in S8 we just had other characters state that she SO SMART!! Whatever happened to "show, don't tell" in writing?

Emilia embodied Denerys in a really impactful way but they ruined her. I feel for her bringing a character to life for YEARS only to have her butchered in the last act for a money grab.

she's a gem and that makes this whole situation so unfair. how can you wake up and go to work, knowing that your lack of care for a group of people's ten year commitment will contribute to making those people feel horrible in a long lasting way, and one of those people is EMILIA CLARKE? she's pure joy. i wouldn't even be able to do that for Star Wars money, hell no. shame on you D&D.

I know several japanese animes from the 80s-90s that have better and stronger female characters tbh and don't use every sexist trope. Don't get why d&d wrote this outdated nonsense.

That sounds awesome, I have never been into anime but honestly I appreciate well written female characters, I should give some a chance someday if I can find the good ones. It's ridiculous that these old sexist tropes are still so well used in 2021. Characters should have flaws but these ones are repetitive and feed harmful stereotypes about women.

"Princess Mononoke" for example or "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" are two old anime classics that have strong female characters. Sure a couple things still come off a bit old fashioned, but for their time they were pretty progressive and definitely better written than any women in GOT.
