well said guys, i do appreciate how they are handling the dragons and their connection to the riders a lot. also always loved Dany/Drogon the most

i think the other two dragons and especially Jon/Rhaegal could have been fleshed out a lot more. but they were rushing through literally everything

that would have been a disaster. Even Drogon would have been risky, he's the most feisty one of Dany's three.

it is strange to think in GOT the dragons were about the age of Arrax, Drogon already giving baby Balerion energy. I expect he grows up just as big as Balerion.

I agree with most of those below except I think Helaena deserves a bit more credit

she seems more neurodivergant than "simple" (how the books described her) and clearly a dreamer, people just don't take her seriously.

Aemond isn't stupid but his stupid behaviour with Vhagar earns him the dumb dragon.

I think on GOT the dragons grew a bit too fast tbh.

Though it's also true that not all dragons grow the same speed. Like meleyes is one of the oldest dragons during the dance yet is much smaller than vhagar (who is even older of course), but she will likely never get as big as vhagar.
