I am sure Rhaenyra would be so proud of Dany being her descendant. She brought back dragons after the chaos of the Dance, she fought her way into power from being a sex slave, she wasn't stopped by people who wouldn't take a woman in power seriously.

I don't even really consider Jon a Targaryen. It had barely any impact on his story, he bonded with a dragon enough to be his rider and then dgaf when he was killed, he barely counts.
