They sort of do.. but it's very complicated ;) I have only read the first 2 books.. so I am not sure if something more significant happens between the 2 of them ;)

The more I get into 'TDC' the more I think that Thomas/Teresa are not headed for the romantic bit... there are some very hard things that happen and it makes Thomas question a lot of things ;)
