 Good rule!

gingerly 06-17-2015 02:34 PM

Yeah, that is a very good rule. I need to be tougher with myself with that sort of thing, cause I'm way too much like Leslie Knope in my inability to throw things out.

indigo sunrise 06-17-2015 03:02 PM

Oh me too, for sure  I have a lot of stuff that I absolutely won't need again but that I also can't throw out cause WHAT IF?? Or if it holds sentimental value... even if I have exactly looked at it once in the past 3 years or so :P

Musickat18 06-17-2015 03:19 PM

I tend to have the opposite problem. I toss everything. And then I end up having to rebuy things when I need them again.

indigo sunrise 06-18-2015 04:40 AM

 if only we could combine that somehow and level each other out.

Anyone have any title suggestions for the next thread? :wiggle:

None at all, sorry!

Just watched Mad Max Fury Road and it totally lived up to all that online hype! Best film I've seen in ages.

indigo sunrise 06-24-2015 01:03 PM

Cool! Yeah I've heard such good things about it but I wasn't too blown away by the trailer. I mean I was in the way that it looked visually AMAZING, but the one I watched made it seem like it was a lot of action and not a lot of plot, is that true?

Musickat18 06-24-2015 01:05 PM

Yeah, I'm waiting until it comes on video to watch it. It just didn't really tickle my fancy that much.

Tech Noir 06-24-2015 01:09 PM

Based on the hype and the free time on my hands, I may as well catch it in the theaters, maybe this weekend.
I also want to see Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl, but it isn't showing in my town although it was released June 12th.

Yeah I would say plot was probably below visuals, action, and characters on their priority list, but honestly this was one of the few times it didn't bother me, because the film was still about something, if that's makes sense!

I didn't watch any of the trailers actually, because it was never something I thought I'd see!

indigo sunrise 06-26-2015 12:53 PM

I think the trailer came on before Age of Ultron when I went to see it  but good to know! I'll probably wait until it's out on DVD but then I'll definitely watch it.

gingerly 06-27-2015 03:49 PM

Cool beans, I just hope you don't immediately regret not seeing it first on the big screen like I did.

indigo sunrise 06-27-2015 04:11 PM

Yeah, that's a very real possibility  I still need to watch Interstellar, but with that I'm also afraid I'll have that same reaction afterwards.

There is quite a hype of the book that the movie is based off of. I want to read the book before seeing the movie!

AND HELLO EVERYONE. Yes, Happy Canada Day to those of you who are Canadians.
