I love how the cops are actually somewhat competent on this show. It's so rare on TV, especially in scifi, and it makes the whole conflict feel more ~real. As much as I love my campy, ridiculous scifi shows, it's refreshing to see something more grounded.

Sorry about the complete lack of OP. I checked the characters' Tumblr tags, but couldn't find anything that focused on the cops as a whole.

I never even thought about that. I hate watching shows and be like yeah like that would ever happen.
