In the Season 3 finale, the completion of Pandora's box becomes apparent to Abbie and Ichabod after they make a surprising discovery. Meanwhile, The Hidden One is on the verge of destroying all humanity unless the team can find a way to stop him.

Ok, I saw a tweet that said TPTB, screwed Nicole Beharie (it was quickly deleted) and at that moment, I thought she might be leaving the show. All this time, the SH PTB, have disrespected and played the Ichabbie Shippers and their distain for us--IMO; is palpable. Therefore, they might as well cancel SH. I will not watch SH, with no Nicole Beharie. Jessica Camancho nor Nikki Reed can replace her. I am now officially done with SH.

Before I post my live review of the episode, I'll start by saying this episode pissed me off for the obvious reasons.

Anyway here was my live recap.

Loved the Star Wars, Star Trek mention.

Nice to know how much television Crane has watched during his downtime.

So weird seeing Betsy Ross call Crane, Leftanant since we always hear Crane call Abbie that.

Betsy shade jealous sure was not fun to watch though.

So tired of Abbie life always being in danger.

I loved watching Crane carrying her though. lol

"Your heart belongs to Abigal Mills."

I wasn't prepared for that quote! Aww poor Betsy Ross.

Crane heart isn't with Betsy at all anymore. It shows how much Abbie means to Crane.

However, I do wonder... shouldn't Betsy Ross returning to her past mess up with history somehow?

Question, why is it always Abbie? urg. So through with this nonsense.

It's two Witnesses but the writers make it seem like it's one with Abbie continually have to sacrifice herself.

She is seriously like Bonnie Bennett.

Always the one to make the sacrifice.

Pandora still being evil. Not surprising.

It's Abbie and Crane fault for trusting her.

She disliked the treatment the Hidden One was giving her but she never turned good.

Abbie seeing Sheriff Corbin.

That was such a nice scene between them. Reminded me of their scene from 1.01. I loved the speech he gave Abbie about how he's proud of her.

Although Joe is dead, at least he got to see his father.

Dang the evilness of Pandora just coming to church messing up such a great ceremony.

Headless Horseman.

How awesome was it to see him back!!!
This shows how much Crane wants Abbie back. I mean he bought the Headless Horseman of Death back. I've been happy to see him but of course this was the happiest I was to see him.

Who would have thought we would see the Horseman and Crane working together.

Talking about strange. Although I don't like seeing HH get controlled by anyone.

"You love her, don't you. She's your hope... your everything. I took her from you."

WOW! Crane feelings for Abbie is strong.

I didn't expect this.

Ichabbie are Eternal Souls.

Also Ezra knew that.

Talk about a father who knew a lot of information...

Guess I hope for a Season 4 because the continually ridiculousness of Abbie being the one to make sacrifices is old AF.

I'm with you here. This season finale just pissed me off on so many levels.

Pandora loving the powers, are we really shocked?
Abbie the one sacrificing, predictable much?
Betsy Ross leaving, good job writers.
Headless Horseman back? loved it but it sure could've been a heck of a lot better.

There is no Abbie without Ichabod...... there is no Ichabod without Abbie. WRITERS WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! Did they not learn anything?

Abbie shouldnt have been made to sacrifice herself like that. Not again!

Headless returning was AWESOME!

Betsy leaving was totally the right move! No more revolutionaries in the modern world.

Just read this statement by Nicole Beharie on TV Line:

Sleepy Hollow is not horsing around this time: Nicole Beharie has departed Sleepy Hollow following Abbie Mills’ very real death in Friday’s Season 3 finale.

Needless to say: I am terribly disappointed.

Definitely agree with you on that.
Who in the world in the writer's room seriously believe it's a good idea to keep splitting them up? It doesn't make for good television or anything. We've seen it for like five times it seems.

It didn't make me eager for next season or anything.

Just made me feel

Probably time to end the show now I guess...

Depression episode, followed by depression news. Or we can think of was how great Sleepy Hollow could've been and how the ball completely dropped.

So sad to see how the show fallen.

Well we can pretty much declare this show as cancelled. No way can it going on without Nicole. The ratings has already been low, and it will be even lower withouth Nicole.

So it's just time to let the show go and after that season finale, I won't be that sad.

Too bad we didn't get closure but time to move on since the writers clearly moved on after season 1.
