Can't wait for tonight, either.

ETA: Okay, the Katrina bit makes no sense. She was a Quaker nurse in one episode and now she's engaged to an English aristocrat?

So, Ichabod steals the guy's fiancee, tells him about it during the mission and then asks for his blessing? I was kind of rooting for Abraham to kill you myself, Crane.
I don't understand how Ichabod/Katrina fell in love. It seemed to just happen, I don't know.

Jenny/Irving are kind of awesome! So badass together.
Loving Andy in this episode. John Cho is flawless.

I'm loving Abraham aka Headless. Can he come back ...... with his head? He's cute, too.

Fighting over love/jealousy is just so damn predictable to me. I wasn't feeling that part. I don't know. I hope they didn't reduce this apocalypse to a love triangle. I wish he mad about Ichabod because he cut off his head.

This was a good episode! Really intense.

This episode was really so/so for me, but when it got to the last ten minutes this episode picked up extremely.
While watching like the first 45 minutes of this episode, I was a bit upset because I thought we would be getting some backstory into the Headless Horseman and by the end of the episode, I was very pleased.

Now on to my review while watching the episode...

I love the new Ichabbie fist bump. very in character for Ichabod to think it makes no sense.

I love seeing the discussion of Thomas Jefferson continue from last episode, this episode definitely continues right where last one left off.

I like Ichabod realizing Andy Brooks feelings for Abbie, it makes me want to learn more about their relationship before he died. I do wonder how long Andy will last on the show though.. since he's technically dead...
He;s just the frighten undead walking around.
For now though it's good to know he doesn't control his actions at times since the Horseman owns his soul. So the Headless Horseman can talk through him.

Jennifer first day officially out of TarryTown Psychiatric, I'm confused I thought Abbie could take her out only after six months?... I don't believe episode 1.04 - 1.08 has been six months.

I enjoyed seeing the scenes between Capt. Irving and Jennifer Mills. Jennifer would make a great detective.

Interesting back story, Katrina was betrothed with Ichabod's best friend before him.
I love the green necklace, Ichabod sure knew what she'd like.
I really do loving looking back into their story, I loved that Katrina broke off the arrange marriage with Abraham cause she didn't love him.
I really hope we could see more on how /when they fall in love. The last flashback is how they met, and this episode their flashbacks was more of them being forbidden [somewhat] but still loving each other. Their love story seems all over the place, and I'll say it's because of the flashbacks mixing together, nothing exactly going in the correct order...

Abbie didn't seem to pleased with that backstory, and I could in a way understand why.

I did feel a bit sad for Abraham, his fiance didn't love him but was in love with his BFF, his reaction was realistic but than turned a bit extreme. What a sad day/way for Abraham to die, you're fiance leaves you, you feel your best friend betrayed you and you get shot from the Horseman. Although It seems like Ichabod didn't stick around to see everything that happened... I find it weird that the Horseman just stayed around him...

The Headless Horseman being Abraham was both shocking and not shocking because I kind of called it to my self when Ichabod left right after Abraham told him to leave... he saw the Horseman around Abraham and then left, so it actually makes a lot of since. I loved when the story was put together.
Very unique story.
Now Ichabod & Abbie more than every have to find a way to contact Katrina.
The Headless Horseman is out for revenge, and is trying to win his ex-fiance back.

For the first time I actually saw chemistry between Crane and Katrina. IMO the chemistry wasnt nothing like the fire that's between Crane and Abbie, but still it's there, which is good since their love story is going to be at the center of the apocolypse.

I love Brooks and was disappointed to see him literally vanish into thin air. I hope he'll be back some time in the near future.

I really enjoyed the seeing Abbie and Crane take care the horseman while being paralleled with Jenny and Irving taking care of the people trying to help the horseman.

Interesting accusation by the horseman about Ichabod betraying his first partner. Of course we know why he made that accusation, but it makes me wonder if this will come into play again in the future, only this time Crane will betray (or appear to betray) Abbie for the sake of Katrina.

This was the best episode of the season.

I liked elements of the episode, but thought there were a lot of dumb things.

- Abraham is not built like the horseman at all. He would have had to grown quite a bit and gained a lot of weight to look like the horseman. And somehow, after they changed his clothes, he miraculously was huge. I don't get it.

- For something as huge and world-endingly-important like keeping the horseman imprisoned...WHY would they have been relying on city power?!! Seriously, get yourselves some backup generators, you geniuses.

- So who was death before Abraham became death?

- why is the horseman forbidden to kill Crane?

- Good thing our heroes are expert marksmen who never, ever miss moving targets jumping all over the place, with a handgun, because...that would just be dangerous!

- I know this makes sense in light of who they were looking for, and I doubt Sleepy Hollow has a whole bunch of German speakers around...but I had to laugh when they heard German spoken and were like "them's evil folks!" Maybe the next time I hear someone speaking German I should just narrow my eyes at them and go "Hessian." You figure?

I agree that Abraham's stature is nothing resembling that of the Headless Horsemen. I think they use a stuntman for him, though.

And good point about the power generator.

I thought Moloch (sp?) owned his soul??

I'm still having issues with the character of Katrina & her love story with Crane. While their scenes were better tonight, I wish we could've seen more of the in between, like them actually falling in love. Instead we've gone from them meeting & jumping ahead to Katrina calling off her engagement. I'm still not buying this great love story, which makes this new triangle with them & Abraham/Death just blah for me.

As for just the character...Katirna still has nothing to do. I came away from this episode feeling like Katrina is just a means to an end on their quest to stop Death/the horsemen/Molouch. My guess is that Katrina will ultimately sacrifice herself for the greater good.

Loved Jenny & Irving working together.

I'm a little surprised they didn't show Crane apologizing to Abbie for yelling, but I'm actually a bit glad that it happened because if A&I are going to be saving the world together, they need to know that they can have less than pleasurable moments with one another, but still get the job done, work through their issues, & come out ok on the other side & get back to the last scene we saw in this episode.

You're correct, mistake on my part.

I think the love story for Ichabod and Katrina is suppose to be a love at first sight deal.. that's what I get. I thought these flashbacks for Ichabod/Katrina were so different from the one in the last episode though [with them].
So we'll see.

I am wondering where will Katrina go when this season is finished... like I don't know what else they can do with her out of the flashbacks, like when she's freed does she return to her time? or she comes to the future... we'll see.

I did enjoy the last 10 minutes the most!

We find out that The Headless Horseman is Katrina's ex-fiance! I thought that was an interesting twist!

^^ It's kind of cliche and an overused trope that, thus far, this show has been good at not falling into.

I wish Andy would find a way back from the dead. And make him good this time.
