Thanks for the new thread!

So I just finished the episode, Misha was amazing like always! Wanted to hug Cas so bad..... Though I laughed when he was running from the barn, because come on, that was hilarious! I hate that his brothers want to do God knows what to him now that they have him. I loved that Dean was so concerned for him when he called too #boyfriends

Overall, I loved the premiere! I felt so bad for Cas though, he's really suffering and all he wants is help so that he doesn't hurt anyone anymore. The only thing I founded weird was deans business with the darkness, the mark of cane in a baby, and Crowley in a different vessel. Very intense, and intriguing premiere.

I had a problem with the consent issue with Crowley possessing the woman and making her have the orgy, even though the woman expressed she wanted to do it in the past, she was not there to consent for this time.

Yeah, that was very creepy. That's why I hated this whole "new vessel" storyline for him.

Didn't Crowley go back into his "Mark" body?

If it had been a different character that possessed someone against their will and had sex in their body, I would probably never forgive them and always remember that moment. But with Crowley, well, he's the King of Hell. He literally rules over the millions of demons in a vast possibly boundless dimension. I can forgive Crowley and even find the humor in his evil actions because he never pretended to be anything other than what he is, doesn't play the victim card, doesn't have a "the world owes me" mentality, and isn't betraying anyone. We knew he was an evil demon from his very first scene.

On BtVS, when Faith bodyswapped Buffy against Buffy's will and had sex with Buffy's then boyfriend Riley without Buffy's consent and without Riley knowing it was another woman in her body, I was pissed off and ranting about how that was a very severe violation. And really annoyed that less than 10% of the fandom saw it as rape. The reason that episode bothered more than what happened with Crowley is that Faith was human with a soul, the only Slayer at the time besides Buffy, used to be Buffy's friend/comrade, and did what she did out of revenge. They filmed it in a way that despite Buffy/Riley being the victims, we were supposed to feel sorry for Faith and not see her as a villain so much as a troubled girl that needs forgiveness and help.
