Oh, season 2 has some GREAT episodes! This season is when the cast & writers really got into a rhythm & it began to gel. I loved seeing an actual meaningful prior relationship to Castle with Kyra. It really showed he wasn't all a vapid waste & did have the ability to truly care for someone.

I love that ep with kyra like Beckett said she was 'real'

I love the eps mistress always spanks twice, food to die for, when the bough breaks, Sucker punch, Tick tick, boom

I agree it defintely started to gel in S2 with all the cast Ryan/espo especially as for me castle/Beckett was from the very beginning

Yes, the Ryan/Espo relationship was built up, too. Good observation! And that episode featuring Jon I loved! Ugh, I'm at work & can't remember the title? :/
