I personally want them to end up together but things might change as time/seasons go on. Or at the least have an open ending. I don't think them not ending up together makes it more real. But again it all really depends on how things play out in future seasons.

Heather, I wasn't talking about society, really. When I said realistic, I meant in the sense, like, how many high school relationships actually last? High school kids are fickle as hell and change their mind all the time. You want one thing/person one week and it could change 2 months down the line.

Yea, I agree with this.

Right now I want Finn and Rae to stay together for good, obviously. But I know that it might not happen, since they are still both so young and a lot can happen.

And one of the reasons why I want them to stay together is exactly because of what society thinks, I want this show to prove a lot of people wrong and to show them that the way you look don't matter when it comes to love. There isn't any couple like Rae and Finn, they are pretty unique.

Ahh... but there are also some high school romances that do last and stay together for a long time so I never understood how if someone stays together outside of high school it doesn't seem to make it real. Yes it doesn't happen as often but it's there. So for me if they stayed together I would still see it as realistic. They would just happen to be two of the few who actually made it past high school.

But I do agree that things can change in high school pretty quickly and why I said things might change as time/seasons go on.

I think the only HS couple I've seen work and grow old together was Naley from OTH.

It doesn't happen often but it does happen, and I would love if that was the case with Rae and Finn.

They need to get with the program regarding MMFD.

I'm not sure because I just started watching the show recently, but yea, with Sherlock I think people knew about the premiere with a lot sooner than us.

I think the problem is with E4, apparently they do this to all of their shows, sigh.

You would think they would tell people of the air date at least a month in advance so people will know when it's on. Just for ratings purposes.

Sydney - Exactly. I mean either they don't know a date yet and that's ugh or they do but still aren't giving it to us which is crazy.
