As a fan of Sherlock Holmes and all kind of procedural, I was immediately drawn to the show but didn’t expect to fall in love with these characters so hard. I re-discovered the canon with new characters, JLM who is just another perfect incarnation of Holmes with his awesome facial expressions and gimmicks; and fell in love with Lucy Liu, whom I’ve never really liked before, as the female Watson. As for the board, I posted a few times before, but wasn’t a regular, it is only after the events that occurred in S2, leading into S3 that I felt the need to talk with other fans. I enjoy dissecting/discussing events/relationships when I watch a show, I missed that during S1 and S2 and I’m grateful I’m at least on board for S3! To many more posts and seasons with Emma, my co-mod, the brownstone, Clyde, Sherlock, Joan, Alfredo, Mrs Hudson, Jamie, Kitty (hopefully !) and all the awesome posters !

Elementary is a brilliant show which approaches Arthur Conan Doyle's books in a non-clichéd way, focusing on character development and relationships and dealing with complex, human issues, which is why I love it so much. The Elementary board is my favourite on Fanforum and it has been awesome to see it grow, having been here from the start. I love the community spirit we have developed around here, and I have met some great people on this board who shared an interest in one of my favourite shows. It hasn't always been easy to keep it going and for awhile it did look like we might need to close the board, but the greatest thing I have seen on here is the huge effort put in by its posters and other members around Fanforum who helped to keep it going so that it could be here to reach 25K. Thankyou to everyone who has helped us get here, especially all the regular posters, Bel(my previous co-mod) and Tania(my current co-mod).
