I loved the entire scene where Joe has the 'intervention' for Ryan. You could see how hard it was for Ryan to admit that stuff to him and of course Joe was just thrilled to hear it.
It was nice seeing them work together one last time, but I actually thought that Ryan was going to let that inmate kill Joe  They both looked so sad during that last conversation and you could see Joe looking at Ryan when he said his final words.I'm really going to miss the two of them together, it looks like we'll still be getting some Ryan/hallucination!Joe scenes but I don't think it'll be the same |

It definitely won't be the same... it says a lot that Ryan is downward spiraling now that Joe is dead. You'd think he would feel at peace but Joe was a major chunk of his life

I didn't realize how sad I would be to see Joe go
 He was such an awesome character... I kept hoping it was a dream and he'd still be alive. It'll be interesting to see how Ryan handles things now that Joe is gone. __________________

Well, Joe was a pretty huge part of his life since he caught him in 2003. Having him suddenly be gone is going to be a bit of a shock especially given what they're last conversation was like.
I loved it when Joe had him take off his dress shirt and was having him turn around |

Breaking his sobriety and hallucinating Joe probably aren't very good signs....It looks like he's getting more violent in the promo too. I guess Joe is going to be the metaphorical devil on his shoulder now
