StoryLine Inconsistency Thread
Before I start I would like to say that the show is great.
However, I have a few problems with the abilities of the FBI displayed and believe that the story writers somethings really have to stretch things from time to time. For example: in Season 7 they escape from the rooftop with a helicopter. Ryan has a cell phone and could have easily made the call to track the helicopter. There is no region in the US without full flight radar, especially after 9/11. Even before that both Ryan and his buddy don't call for backup or air cover before entering the shopping mall. And even before that, when they track Carol's cell phone they forward its location to Ryan only.....the general practice would be to have immediate air cover on the vehicle. This is done on car chases etc. and when a 14-times killer escapes they send only 2 guys? Tell me what you think. I for one enjoy the show quite a bit. But in some cases it seems really constructed. |

episode 8 (Turkey Shoot)
When Ryan opens fire on the group of guys just after his partner was stabbed he fires several shots and 2-3 guys answer fire.
His female partner is outside the building and doesn't hear the gunfire? When the group escapes they "slip out behind" her into the car and get away? Really. You are 50ft away from a gunfight and don't hear a thing? She would have heard the gunfire and picked the escapees of one-by-one on their way to the car. |

Hi welcome to
I do appreciate that you make some valid points and I'm sure others would welcome the opportunity to discuss them further but they don't really warrant a new thread, so I am going to copy your posts into the appropriate episode discussion thread and close this one. __________________
