The Walking Dead Video Game
 

I didn't see a thread on this so my apologies if it exists. Earlier this year, Telltale Games, who did an exceptional job with Back to the Future and Jurassic Park games, did an episodic release for The Walking Dead. What the games do work like a "choose your own adventure" book. You make decisions, investigate clues and hit the right buttons at the right time to pretty much stay alive and get to safety. BTTF and Jurassic Park had this intensity to them that The Walking Dead only capitalizes on. I do believe they released it on disc with all 5 episodes, but you can buy them on PS3 Network or Xbox Live Arcade per episode or as a bundle for pretty cheap.

Anyway, this game was already great but no one expected this: It won Game of the Year at the Spike Video Game Awards. That's one of the highest video game honors and with so many BIG games like Assassin's Creed 3, Borderlands 2 and Call of Duty Black Ops 2, I never in my wildest dreams thought this would win. But it did!!! Has anyone played it!

I bought it ans played on my Iphone. This game was epic. Like for serious.

Do you know if the iPhone version is the same as the episodic one for the consoles by TellTale Games? If so that would be so awesome. There's a collector's edition that just looks beyond epic!

I got the Telltale Games yesterday for Christmas. I cant wait to play it

Definitely get it guys if you can, it's pretty cheap if you buy each episode at a time and there are strategy guides, too because some parts can be tricky. TellTale does games that you can play over and over and never have the same experience twice even though there's only one real way to get through from one point to the next. Such great storytelling!

So much fun. I keep meaning to buy the last 4 episodes on Xbox haha. I had the Microsoft Points for it the other day (at least episode 2) but bought a Tetris game instead. Shame on me.
