Ya the last couple of books weren't as strong as the first several, but I really enjoyed the series overall. I couldn't remember exactly how many there were, but I just googled, and it says 15.



I felt like the Sookie in the books was just a lot stronger than Sookie in the show. We are also in her head in the books though since it is 1st person POV the entire time, and the other characters are definitely minor characters.

I think it's the safe choice, but this show and true love aren't about safe choices. When I read the books I understood why they ended up together though.

Totally! I think I had the starter box set with the first 6 or so books and then go the other ones as they came out.

While Eric was my favorite of the boyfriends, i was always a big fan of Alcide too. He's so damn sexy.

Millie I think you asked in another thread, but no Im not doing a rewatch, this is my first time seeing these episodes. I stopped watching the show after season 4 I think? And finally got caught up with it. Its taken a really long time. But I am getting close to the end. My goal is to finish by the end of summer for sure. Ive got about 6 other shows Im trying to finish as well.

I really loved seeing Hoyt again in this episode. I felt bad for him, but his mother was a bitch. lol.

It was nice to see Pam’s reaction to Tara finally!

The flashbacks were cool. Eric’s hair though .

I really enjoyed the conversation between Jessica and Lafayette. It was a nice moment between them.

Sookie and Eric hug was so sweet! And he grabbed her hair! She looked so upset to see that he was going to die. GOD THAT HUGGING SCENE JUST FED MY FREAKING SOUL. I needed that. I missed their scenes together. WHY WERE WE DEPRAVED FOR SO LONG.

Glad that Arlene didn’t actually die. That would be too much. The scene with Terry was pretty sweet.
