Sense8 (a play on the word sensate /ˈsɛnseɪt/, meaning aware) is an American science fiction drama web television series created, written and executive-produced by Andy and Lana Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski.

A first season consisting of 12 episodes has been produced and became available for streaming on Netflix on June 5, 2015.

The Wachowskis are responsible for the direction of the biggest part of the show, with the rest of it being handled by a number of people they have collaborated with in the past, including Cloud Atlas co-director Tom Tykwer. Meanwhile this is the first series produced under the banner of Straczynski's Studio JMS.

The plot revolves around eight strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become mentally and emotionally linked and it is set to explore subjects that its writers felt science fiction shows tend to ignore or skim through such as politics, identity, sexuality, gender and religion.

If I had known, I would have tried to keep the Sense8 thread alive before it closed.

So far I love season 2.

Nomi and Lito continue to be my favorite sensates.

I hope that I have chance to see it..

I am only THIRD watch of Season Two of this amazing show!!! So far my reactions:

Will is amazingly patient!

Riley is super supportive!

Sun is so strong willed.

Wolfie is trying to do the right thing

Kala is trying to settle in

Capheus is adjusting to new circumstance

Lito is being so brave

Nomi is continuing to be the best hacker ever

Amanita is fabulous!

Dani is so cute!

Hernado is amazing!

Mr. Whispers is sickest puppy in the litter.

OMG!! IA MA SO BLOWN AWAY BY THIS SHOW!!! I WANT SEASON THREE! lol!

I just finished Season two. And Damn this show is amazing. I'm devestated the board is closed. I needed to go talk about it but I had forgotten it closed. Devestated.

Anyway season two is phenomenal from start to finish.

What do you think is gonna happen with Wolf?

How wil Litos boyfriend react to the truth? He had to tell them why he needs to get to London.

Are they gonna try and Bargain Jonas and Whispers to get Wokf back or what?

That finale was so crazy.

I think Will is going to give Whispers a taste of his own medicine.... a.k.a some torture.

OMG!!! We need S3!!

I hope Wolf gives him a taste of his own medicine but im worried. It seems almost like once they get their hands on A sensate that eventually that person ends up working for them. Will doesn't like being s pawn. He's proven that. Yet I have this bad feeling. I could see Will be willing to do anything to protect Kala.

Once they have Wolf back with them, Will and our favorite Berliner will go to town on Whispers. (at least that's my hope)

I'm sure Will would definitely do that.

One thing is for sure about this Cluster..... they are gonna fight to stay free and anyone who gets in their way is going down! OMG!! I need more of this show!
