^I wonder which events last season were based on true ones and which were just the writers ideas? I have no doubt in my mind that the episode where Spencer and Asher had to fix the Porche after it crashed was one. I think most of us had moments where we scratched or got some kind of serious dent in our vehicles. I know I have!

I did look it up, but the problem that they didn't have enough of info, but I assume that the family's issue could be true story, but everything else would be fiction..

^The show is based on the life of Spencer Paysinger; and he's a consulting producer for the series! This is why I think some of the stories we saw were loosely based on things that happened to him. I think we'd have to read his biography though to see what stories were true or not, though. That's why we can only speculate.
I think some of the family story is based truefully; but these are areas I try to avoid in true stories; cause these are the most sensitive ones. |

Yeah since I think that when it comes to Spencer and sport, it could be true story, but outside of his family, it's not true? I wish that we can know little more to know which one..

^I do know they said Coop is based loosely on Paysinger's long time friend growing up; and they decided to make the character female instead of male in the show.
