Ohmigosh! It looks so hilarious! I like that they're willing to make fun of themselves and take jabs at themselves. I just hope Zack is a little better written than he was last season. I almost didn't like his character last season, but still loved him & Kelly and they had a few hot moments. It's nice to see Lark/Lisa back! I hope she's fairing well & enjoying her time being reunited with the cast!

I wonder if they're writing that Screech passed away somehow. It'll be interesting to see how they're writing that in.

The last season ended with Mac saying, "What's Coronavirus?" I wonder if they're gonna pick up where the last season left off, and have the kids going into quarantine, then do a time jump and Covid totally gone in the SBTB universe. I hope so. I've hated watching shows this season of characters wearing masks and lying in hospital beds because they contracted Covid... It'll be nice to have a fun escape from the "real world".

I bet you $50 (OK, a $1 ) that Jessie & Slater end up together by the end of the season.

I do wonder how they are going to handle that. Honestly they would have probably been better off not mentioning it all.

My one complaint is Zach's hair. I thought it would be better this season. I know he has to be blonde but is that really the best they can do? MPG is still hot irl but that hair is doing him absolutely no favours.

By "time jump", I mean like 4 or 5 months, not years. The quarantine for school-age kids happened between March - June, 2020. They could do like one or two episodes where they're doing the online learning thing, then jump to after summer, and they're starting the school year in person, Covid-free. Maybe they'll just have dropped it and never mention it again, and just leave it as a one-liner from Mac, which was fitting for his character.

Oh, yeah, I agree! I feel bad for Mark-Paul because his hair got so damaged from all the dying he did back in the original series, so they didn't want to do that again, so they went with the hair extensions, but I wish they could make it look better than it does.

I hope you get a chance to. I'm debating on if I want to rewatch the first season again before starting Season 2.

i suppose but even without quarantine lots of places still wear masks etc. so even a 5 month time jump or whatever wouldnt really be in line with how things are right now.

if they really wanted to get rid of masks and all mention of covid they'd had to ff llke 2 years probably lol.

Well, some shows have had like one or two episodes where there was a Covid-storyline, but then by the next episode, it was all cleared up, because in that universe, it didn't exist anymore, and they didn't need it for their storyline and show anymore. No masks worn because they don't have to anymore in that fictional world. As I was saying, in the SBTB-universe, it could be "non-existent" by the time they go back to school, so masks wouldn't be necessary. They wouldn't need to FF anything. It just wouldn't exist in the SBTB-universe anymore.
