Revenge #6: This Show May be Over, but It's Not Forgotten

Revenge

Wealth, beauty and status define the people in this town, but one woman is willing to destroy everyone for the sake of revenge.

Emily Thorne (Emily Van Camp) is new to the Hamptons. She’s met some of her wealthy neighbors, has made a few new friends and seemingly blends into the town. But something is a little odd about a young girl living in a wealthy town all on her own, and the truth is that Emily isn’t exactly new to the neighborhood. In fact, this was once her old neighborhood, until something bad happened that ruined her family and their reputation. Now Emily is back, and she’s returned to right some of those wrongs in the best way she knows how – with a vengeance.

“Revenge” stars Madeleine Stowe (“We Were Soldiers,” “The Last of the Mohicans”) as Victoria Grayson, Emily Van Camp (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Everwood”) as Emily Thorne, Gabriel Mann (“The Bourne Identity”) as Nolan Ross, Henry Czerny (“Mission: Impossible,” “Clear and Present Danger”) as Conrad Grayson, Ashley Madekwe (“Secret Diary of a Call Girl”) as Ashley Davenport, Nick Wechsler (“Roswell”) as Jack Porter, Josh Bowman (“Prowl”) as Daniel Grayson, Christa B. Allen (“13 Going on 30”) as Charlotte Grayson and Connor Paolo (“Gossip Girl”) as Declan Porter.

“Revenge” is written and executive-produced by Mike Kelley (“Swingtown”), along with executive producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey (“Twilight”). The pilot is directed and executive-produced by Phillip Noyce (“Salt”). “Revenge” is produced by ABC Studios.

I stopped when they shot Daniel. I just lost interest. But I read about what happend after that. And what I read sounded exciting. Maybe I will watch the rest someday.

You're welcome guys!

Daniel's death was actually done really well if I remember correctly. It was entertaining and dramatic, which is exactly what you would expect.

"By having him save Emily and sacrifice himself, it was the perfect, fitting end for the character." Josh Bowman said after Daniel's death. I think that's true. I read somewhere that the actor wanted his character to die. So he got his wish.

I agree with all of the above! Also-Daniel had a lot of issues towards the end. I think it was a good ending to his character too.

I liked Daniel and Emily too, but she never truly liked him IMO. She realized he wasn't evil, but she didn't truly care for him.

I liked Nolan as a friend but didn't want them to have more.

I liked Jack and Emily. I liked how the show did the Childhood Sweethearts things at first but they took ages with it... (and then the other Amanda was there too)

Congrats to them both.

I never could ship Emily with anyone else because the two of them had so much more chemistry.

Their pics are absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so happy for them and that they found each other through the show.

I do think in s1 there were moments when she came to like him but then the Greyson stuff came in the way. Plus before he died she did say some of it was real or something to effect.

Congrats to them
