The New Normal [NBC] #1: Because she's having their baby!

The show tells the story of a blended family which includes a gay couple, Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha), and a woman, cash-strapped waitress and mother of one, Goldie (Georgia King), who becomes a surrogate to assist them in having a child. The show also features Ellen Barkin, Bebe Wood and Nene Leakes. "The New Normal" will premiere Tuesday September 11th at 9:30 on NBC. I only watched the first few minutes of the episode but I really liked it. It had me laghing early on so the rest of the series should be good.

I really enjoyed it especially the gay couple and how grateful and welcoming they are to Goldie and her daughter. Ellen Barkin is over the top but I thought that she was hilarious.

I need to rewatch the first two episodes but the second one was even funnier than the first. I agree about Ellen but she is funny. I really like the little girl in this she's great.

The whole setting, i think the 4 of them are already like an family I like the combination of Bryan & Shania, and Goldie/David Nana is just her funny self... and the names she gives her other ppl :lol: |
