I had to start a thread here because the Good Wife board confuses me. They have a bunch of episodes threads but nothing is updated in the guide. And the board guide itself is closed and nothing seems to be updated. SO CONFUSED. I tried PMing a mod but got no response... So I wanted to start a thread here because I have resumed my rewatch and need somewhere to post!

I just finished watching 604. The show definitely lacks something without Will but I still really enjoyed the acting and the writing.

I watched the show from seasons 1-5 ish. Then stopped after Will died. Then got back into a few years back but stopped again lol. I'm finally trying to finish it out!

I hate it. I mean, Will was my favorite and I loved the thing with Will and Alicia. I would have rather they just had the actor leave and go somewhere else. I don't see why they had to kill him. So yeah, that just bummed me out and the way he died was so horrible too. One of my least favorite character deaths, even if the episode was well done.

And it just feels like Alicia moved on pretty quickly and the barely mention him. But the show tends to do that with a lot of storylines. They kinda skim over stuff and dont explain certain things or go into detail with things, they assume the audience will figure it out, which is frustrating.

But, regardless, its still a good show. I like how they edit the episodes, and I like all the actors. Cary is probably my favorite now that Will is gone. I dont like what they did to the Alicia/Kalinda friendship but other than that I think its been pretty good.

It wouldn't have been in character for Will to go somewhere else imo. Alicia didn't really move on from it either and that kinda comes back up later really

But at least they might have been able to bring back the actor for an episode or so.

I think they could have written a storyline that forced it to be in character. maybe he had to make a sacrifice to protect alycia from something. or he could have been blackmailed... or maybe someone in his family died and he had to leave suddenly. idk. there are lots of different things they could have done.

Yeah true, but it was going to write that situation in with the situation the firm was at that time.

I mostly invested in cary sl the firm story with Aliciawas my fave. I hated that he was barely in the last season.

I do agree I couldn't see Will moving in s5. He was desperate to beat alicia/cary. I do think alicia didn't get over Will. I mean he was in the finale telling her to go with jason and why she got mad at eli

No offense but it was a horrible board. I did say hi. I messaged one of the moderators too and never got a response. The freaking board guide was closed, like, what the heck is that about? Makes no sense.

Not to mention that way back when I was watching the show they were SO RUDE to me because I shipped Cary and Kalinda and practically told me to go post on Matt's board instead. Like... wow rude.
